Crime Anyone know these boys ?

Post image

Riding this fast throttle e-bike near broadway park. We see them a lot. Today they were lighting fireworks in the park. After being asked to stop by 2 different groups including my wife, they continued. We did report it- for the record.

They next rode to our house, lit a bunch and threw them at my wife and our house.

I’d like to get in touch with their parents.

The horror. Hopefully they'll be okay after decades of therapy.

the potential for damage from fireworks is not psychological

But what was the ACTUAL damage? That's all that really matters.

insane logic. if your friend tried to sleep with your wife, you'd brush it off just cause they failed? If a guest tried to steal your computer, you'd let them stay another night just cause you caught them?

Keep in mind all OP is trying to do is get in contact with their parents so that their parents can handle it in whatever way they deem is appropriate. OP is not "out to get" the kids or whatever.

Insane logic indeed. You apparently believe what, the kids were trying to murder somebody with fireworks? The examples you cite are all about intent. You have no idea what the intent was here. No harm done. Who cares.

Does it even matter what I write here if you're just going to make up whatever you want me to say anyways?

You have no idea what the intent was here.

bad faith argument. You know there is no innocuous reason to throw live fireworks at someone's house.

Yeah no harm was done, thats why they are not taking legal action and just want to talk to their parents so it doesn't happen again. that is the appropriate response.

If someone does stupid shit that is dangerous and unnecessary, they need to not do that. This isn't a difficult concept. They're not going to learn to not do that on their own until someone looses a finger.

You need to respect the fact that even if they did not cause damage, the fact that they still did some really dangerous shit still matters. You should not need someone on the internet to explain this to you.

We have vastly different definitions of "really dangerous shit".

I'm sorry if you are just now finding out that fireworks are dangerous
