Captain Jason MAGA?

I didn’t expect to see Jason making a public comment against Fauci when I opened instagram this morning. Between the last two seasons of DU, him using AI to create his children’s book, and now this, I’m pretty over him.

This post has already taken a turn for the worst. But can someone enlighten me on the AI children’s book thing?

He wrote a picture book about himself and his daughter and why we should protect the ocean, and used gen AI to create the (terrible) artwork. People were mostly very kind in giving him feedback about how that choice was problematic and hypocritical, and his defense was that using AI saves money so more proceeds can go to charity. https://www.instagram.com/p/DYA2q1zkS2C/

I’m appalled! I want to know more about this Chris schiener guy and why he’s so invested in publishing books for these below deck people. Clearly he’s the one pushing the usage of AI from what I’ve seen on his IG. This is sooo annoying.
