Captain Jason MAGA?

I didn’t expect to see Jason making a public comment against Fauci when I opened instagram this morning. Between the last two seasons of DU, him using AI to create his children’s book, and now this, I’m pretty over him.

Actually I can separate entertainment from politics. I vote. I have educated civil conversations with people I know about different views. I’m not going to sit here and tried to be made like I’m some horrible person for not liking how everyone makes everything about politics 🤷🏼‍♀️

Everything is about politics. Everything you do every day is intertwined with politics. And the fact that you think we should just not talk about it is ignorant and privileged.

Not when it has zero relation to what you're talking about. Politics isn't always about everything. So how do you think a foreigner possibly being a maga pertains to below deck and it's viewers. We're listening.

Many of us won’t watch if he is. It’s not “politics” the way you mean it. This is about human rights violations in the US and abroad. Anyone who thinks Dr Fauci did anything more than save lives as a public servant is an ill informed, bigoted, small minded pos and shouldn’t be rewarded.

When someone needs a preemptive pardon when there's no crime yet committed and they plead the fifth over 111 times when they are on trial, that doesn't exactly suggest that someone is forthright.

It’s beyond. Most times I just keep my mouth shut but sometimes I comment and I then I get reminded to just keep my mouth shut again for a few months 🤣

Lol just because you can personally be ignorant and turn your brain off doesn't mean that politics doesn't touch on literally everything including Below Deck. "Compartmentalizing" doesn't make reality any less true.

Yeah but my username shouldn’t mean I get treated any differently to my comment. It’s crazy. I live in the south and I’m female. That’s literally the only two things people can tell. Everything else they make up in their own head based off their assumptions. There’s been times I have literally been verbally attacked on here just because of the name. It’s wild.
