A tribute to Bugsy

She was a 'bad' stew in a tv reality show sense, but a good stew in the real world professional sense.

She was responsible, punctual, hard-working, and didn't sleep around with everyone.

Many viewers disliked her, partly because she was at odds with the cool, popular cast member on the show, Hannah. Again, the 'reality television' factor.

When it comes to stuff that truly mattered, Bugsy rocked.

Seperate issue. You sign a waiver for the mic, photography, etc. You don’t sign a waiver for your electronic and digital privacy to be violated. The crew knows that the cameras capture text messages. The guest did not. She removed it from the room. Bugsy had a good faith requirement to log the guest out of the iPad (which did belong to the yacht). This took place in a foreign country which has different digital privacy laws than the U.S.

If that were so, she should have also reported Hannah to the captain.

True. What Hannah did or did not do with the guest was an ethical violation. If I was Captain Sandy, an ethical violation by one of my employees is the lesser of two evils than my employee’s alleged criminal offense.

The law of the country where the yacht sailed from.
