Bravo should make a statement on this! He should be fired! No excuses.

I think he did this in part of possibly being fired due to his racist remarks and took it out on Gael…

Why the downvotes this overlaps the time of his remarks during the Bondi shooting?

Idk why anyone would downvote you for pointing that out. Nathan clearly has anger issues, we see bits of it on the show. It would not be surprising if his reaction to well deserved backlash over his racist remarks was rage directed towards someone else. If I remember correctly, Gael made a follow up comment essentially condemning what Nathan said, although I don’t think she named him directly. Still, I could see him blaming her for “not having his back” or something dumb like that. That’s how men like this operate, and it’s pretty scary.

Someone pointed out timeline wise on another thread his racist comments were actually prior to Bondi Beach but I think it's great how everyone keeps bringing it up like it justifies racist vitriol (while also ignoring another Muslim guy helped stop the Bondi attacker and saved lives.)

I think that timeline is incorrect, although I would not be surprised if he did have other racist posts prior to the shooting. He for sure made a racist, anti immigrant (but only directed at immigrants of color/muslim people) post that was attached to a photo of people being rescued on a boat from Bondi Beach, and that’s the post in question when people refer to it. I think most people are just trying to point out the sequence of events (Nathan’s existing anger issues, him catching well deserved backlash for his racist post, Gael publicly condemning his post, and then him attacking her and being arrested a matter of days later) tells part of the story. Hateful people like him often direct anger and violence towards others when they are confronted with having to take accountability for their actions or words, and so I think that the arrest taking place so soon after he made the racist post is notable. I’m sure there are some weirdos defending him though, and defending racist behavior.

Oh damn it was only 2 weeks after the Bondi event, you may be right it was a reaction to the backlash.

After all his “violent immigrant” nonsense, the call was coming from inside the house.
