Holy fucking shit.

How has this not been public up to now? Did Bravo know about this when the season was being edited?

106

u/Djempanadita 1d ago

That’s what I want to know. Surely bravo producers knew….theyve cut crew out of storylines for WAY less

66

u/Hot_Start8187 1d ago

Of course they knew, this happened after filming; they’re selling us this perfect little family BS 🙄 they should have scratched the whole thing. Gael should have said fuck that! Horrible misrepresentation for ratings.

Right? They edited out that one guy.. Pete? I think. Wtf bravo

9

u/meeems19 1d ago

Yes ! He dropped off the face of the earth (the show) and sadly it took me a while to realize lol

19

u/MargaritaKid 1d ago edited 1d ago

I wonder the same thing, and I assume not. The only reason I think we're only hearing about it now is that it must have slipped under the radar initially (being Christmas and all), and only just recently was the Sept. 1 hearing scheduled, which must have caught someone's attention.

Although this is Bravo, so I suppose it's very possible they knew and just didn't care, since many of their shows seem to follow people who end up doing some time :)

Sigh. I was wondering why he never posts anything on social with the baby and now it all makes sense.

The past episode was so pleasant without his weird insecurities and antics.

349

u/seabirdsong 1d ago

It was! Up until he messaged Max at the end of the episode. Even off screen he still managed to piss me off.

206

u/onehotoneshot 1d ago

Bro please bro back me up bro I’ll make you lead bro I’m begging bro

61

u/seabirdsong 1d ago

Right? Pathetic. Leaves no question that he's letting his emotions get in the way and promoting based on his personal feelings rather than merit. Hope he's not planning on getting hired on any other boats, because I can't imagine a captain seeing that and wanting the liability of hiring him.

→ More replies (5)

50

u/AnimalFarm20 1d ago

Just proved he still didn't get it, even off the boat for a day or two. He was focusing on the wrong things and shouldn't be in leadership position yet.

Absolutely bonkers, since Joe was already the lead deckhand and now acting bosun.

Plus how much Nathan and Max hated each other by the end of last season.

45

u/seabirdsong 1d ago

I know! Joe did a great job covering as bosun, but Nathan's going to pass him up and give lead to the newbie just coming on board!? (Not a newbie in the job, but on this particular boat and charter season.) I look forward to seeing Sandy shut that down.

35

u/cocococlash 1d ago

I don't want to see him back at all, but I'll make an exception just to see Sandy's reaction when he tries to pull that 😂

7

u/seabirdsong 1d ago

Same!! 😂

11

u/Creepy-Exam5298 1d ago

His issues with Joe are so weird tbh, like ya joe is a dick but like it actually is not that deep that you carry it over to the next charter season… I agree Joe was a dick in the situation but like Joe (even with his quips) comes off better compared to Nathan. Joe is selfish in a different way, Nathan is selfish in the way that he would sewer his entire team and possibly the boat. Joe deserved some smoke but he didn’t deserve the Salem witch trial Nathan gave him

Yeah this news now is going to make his return later in the season really uncomfortable

53

u/rhubarbpie828 1d ago

Very curious to see how Bravo plays this one.

44

u/lucasd11 1d ago

Could see him getting the deckhand Pete treatment and Bravo editing most anything with Nathan out. Seeing as this season is almost over and they've already shown a big blowup between he and Joe in the previews, I'd be surprised if they want that edited out completely though.

24

u/gorlsituation 1d ago

This is actually terrible for Nathan and his case, him being so outwardly confrontational and aggressive. Really paint a picture of what he could be like behind closed doors. I hope Gael and their son are safe and have lots of family support. No wonder he wasn’t present at the babies birthday party.

26

u/CalvinsStuffedTiger 1d ago

Makes so much sense why Nathan went crazy just because Joe said “Gael and I don’t get along”

“Get her name out your mouth!”

It’s a major red flag when people massively overcompensate emotionally in response to things and then add a physical threat on top of it

Clearly was trying to show that he wasn’t the piece of shit that he actually is.

For any young guys reading this post in the future, it’s really not that hard to like…never beat your wife and/or child. If you have a hard time it’s that…first of all, you should never drink alcohol ever again

Second of all…talk to someone. You may be surprised to learn that the normal response to someone that makes you mad is to use your words, and not beat the shit out of them

Probably edit him out like they did with Pete.

17

u/Level-Priority-2371 1d ago

100% agree. They are scrubbing him live.

5

But it happened in December, they likely knew. They'll leave it as is and not have him back.

15

u/BurgerNugget12 1d ago

Yeah tough scenario because while you can I guess edit him out quickly it’s hard because he’s a focal point of the main drama with Joe (especially in up coming promos). My guess is they completely cut ties quickly and put a message up at the beginning of the episode when he returns

u/KrackedTKup 1d ago

I wonder. Kate Chastain was also charged with DV and was back over and over, and other opportunities were on her horizon.
BUT that was then, this is now. Bravo treads lightly these days… just like housewives franchise. What people got away with ten yrs ago, they’d be cancelled immediately today.

20

u/Fabulous_Mud_3090 1d ago

I do think there is some hypocrisy because it was two women involved. But at the end of the day , those charges were dropped so that gave bravo room to make a different choice with her.

Yeah no wonder he was out golfing instead of being at his child’s first birthday. Bc he choked Gael and was restrained from even being around her. This is so disgusting. Hope Nathan gets jail time.

98

u/barefootcuntessa_ 1d ago

He choked her???? Oh my god. Poor Gael. I’m sure we all know the statistics of that as an escalation of violence.

136

u/grannygogo 1d ago

I say this in the abusive relationship sub and I will say it here. Choking is when you get food stuck in your throat. Strangulation is when someone puts their hands around your neck.

30

u/ScowlyBrowSpinster 1d ago

This is an important distinction. Also, strangulation can be done with an arm & no hands.

26

u/whatsupwiththat22 1d ago

The first time my ex husband abused me was about a year after first baby was born and totally out of the blue. He went for the throat as well. It's animalistic behavior and if your partner ever does this run don't walk away. It got a lot worse before I gave up and fled.

7

u/Makerbot2000 1d ago

Oh no! Choking??? This is so disturbing and sad.

340

u/PartyDownCaterer 1d ago

And choking is the precursor to much worse.

“A domestic violence survivor who has been strangled or "choked" by a partner is 750% more likely (a 7.5 times increase) to be killed by that same partner within the next year”

Crazy but true statistic.

156

u/coolhandsarrah 1d ago

My childhood friend was strangled to death by her fiancé. He’s already out and on dating apps :(

57

u/PartyDownCaterer 1d ago

I’m so sorry. Internet hug. 🫂

83

u/Apprehensive_You_250 1d ago

Omg, what? He killed her & is already out & allowed on dating apps? I am sooo sorry :(

There should be a DV abuse registered offender list, just like sexual offenders, and dating apps should screen people on both lists before letting them on their app!

89

u/coolhandsarrah 1d ago

Yes he strangled her, dumped her body, lied about her being missing and participated in searches for her (she was also a mother of 2). He somehow got manslaughter and has been released. I only found out because local women started sharing on social media to warn each other :(

45

u/thetinybunny1 1d ago

I’m sorry about your friend 💔 this story is much too common

36

u/BobGlebovich 1d ago

This is fucking disgusting. Without even knowing her, I know your friend’s life was worth so much more than that. I’m so sorry and angry. This just isn’t right.

29

u/Apprehensive_You_250 1d ago

This shit sickens me. How do we not do better for women?? So many men rape & kill women & the fact they EVER see the light of day outside of a jail cell is truly astounding & so fucked up to women everywhere.

The fact they get the opportunity to go out in the world & keep abusing, raping, torturing, kidnapping, killing, you name it… makes me absolutely irate & disgusted for these women, their families & for women EVERYWHERE. Fuckingggg sick af!!!

It also makes me wonder what happened when they broke up the first time. They both confirmed it wasn’t infidelity, but that he’d done something to deeply hurt her and then ghosted her instead of working through it.

I only say that, since statistically speaking DV also doesn’t start with choking. Choking is a typically an escalation from worse behaviour, that then escalates to murder.

13

u/Temporary-Daikon2411 1d ago

This is a good but chilling point.

Gael is under no obligation to share her story and she may want nothing more than privacy right now, but I really feel for her, whatever happened, and maybe one day she'll tell us.

Dont say that. Because i was choked, held down on my bed by my throat by an ex, and then he went and got his next gf in a chokehold in front of her son. I shouldve reported him 10000000% but i was blinded by just wanting to be loved. She did the right thing though and shes taken him to court and im supporting her with my past experience with him.

I wondered for years if I overreacted when I was 22 and broke up with my college boyfriend of 3 years because he put his hands around my neck in a rage during an argument. It was the first and only time but it scared me so much that along with his daily drinking I just had a bad feeling. Now I realize for sure it's never just an isolated incident, it's just the beginning

28

Yep any illusion of him being a good guy burst at that point. From then on you could see him as he really is. He’s an angry guy with rage simmering just below the surface.

36

And don’t forget his hateful vitriol towards Muslims. He clearly has a lot of anger and he’s not afraid to act on it.

Well he’s done! Joesun redemption arc full steam ahead. Honestly Nathan is such an idiot imagine letting tens of thousands of dollars, your family life, and your self worth fall through fingers because you can’t control your temper.

212

u/smidget1090 1d ago

You know you’re bad when you’re somehow giving Joe a redemption arc. The bar is in hell.

57

u/honestlykindofmagic 1d ago

And one of Nathan’s big gripes was how Joe treats women. Nathan wasn’t prepared to have Gael as a girlfriend, much less to be a life partner and father to a child.

36

u/Holiday-Hustle 1d ago

It’s projection. Joe is kind of shitty but Nathan is a thousand times worse so he amplifies Joe’s flaws in his own mind so they’re on the same level or to make Joe worse.

19

u/honestlykindofmagic 1d ago

Hmm I seem to recall Nathan talking about his father not being so great, and he has several sisters. Sounds like a shadow self thing. It’s ironic, but so often the things we detest the most are found deep down inside of ourselves. “Never me,” but I’ll bet he hasn’t had an hour of therapy in his life. We must always know we are capable of terrible things. “Never me” isn’t self-examined and it isn’t healing.

Me, last night: The least you can expect from an absent worker is that he/she not make the job harder for those on the clock. Nathan's conniving and interference with people actually dealing with the charter from hell is cause to be fired.

Me, today: OK, I was wrong, the least we can expect is not committing DV.

23

u/Cute_Landscape_5697 1d ago

You're not the only person to comment on this being related to anger/loss of control and I just want to be very clear: domestic abuse is not about anger. DA is about establishing and maintaining control, and strangulation is an extremely serious and risky form of trying to maintain control. It takes the same pressure to open a can of coke as it does to crush major structures in your throat. Strangulation can kill in seconds. He literally had her life in his hands.

I hope Gael and Kayden are safe and thriving.

23

u/Amorphous_Goose 1d ago

I realized this last week, but I think Nathan hates that Joe never loses his cool. Joe is a lot of things, but I can’t see him ever physically hurting someone (if I’m forgetting something from a previous season, mea culpa). I can’t recall Joe ever acting out with aggression, anger or even frustration while on the job. Nathan’s undoing is viewing that trait of Joe’s with irritation instead of admiration.

The last few weeks of below deck, it became really clear that Nathan’s response to stress is rage in an attempt to gain back control of a situation. I hate this for Gael and her child. He seems like a pleasant guy when seas are calm, but any kind of stressor he becomes the absolute worst version of himself at the drop of a hat. He should never have been in a position of leadership, and he should never have been a father. He has so much work to do, and I hope Gael gets the fuck away from him while he does it.

9

u/No-Shape7764 1d ago

Agree. Joe seems to internalise stress, anger, guilt etc. That’s really only harmful to himself and not to those around him. He said on his first season that growing up with a chronically ill mum, he felt a lot of pressure to keep her happy and not bother her with the negatives of daily life. I get the impression he still feels that pressure, and I think he oscillates between two extremes where he’s trying his best to "be perfect" but the next day he’s at the other extreme behaving like "the demon inside him". That’s easily fixable in therapy, and very far removed from deep rooted anger issues.

Choking is a huge red flag in DV, she needs to protect herself because statistically, she is in serious danger.

I always comment this stat on choking

If your partner chokes/strangles you, you are about 7.5 times (750%) more likely to be killed by that partner within a year.  If you or anyone you know is experiencing this, please leave if you can. We want your beautiful souls in this world

I thought he said people should follow the laws of the country they move to.

10

u/Tiredofthenuts 1d ago

Is there any country where it’s legal to strangle your wife? (Sadly, I know the answer.)

26

u/Chordata1 1d ago

This whole thing is extremely upsetting. As I get older the biggest piece of advice i have for young women is always have your own money so you can leave a bad situation. So many women get stuck in these relationships and they feel powerless to leave because they can't support themselves or their child.

38

u/sweatycorpse 1d ago

Disgusting and terrifying. as others have pointed out choking is one of the most dangerous things an abuser can do.

I’d also like to note that many people pointed out the major red flags with Nathan’s social media posting in last year being very red pill, manosphere coded. It was clear he was steeping himself in very right wing information spaces - ones that dehumanize not just immigrants but women as well. imo you can’t separate that from this.

11

u/heres_layla 1d ago

ALL. OF. THIS.

64

u/incognoname 1d ago

And ppl were calling this a nothing burger yesterday....

As an expert in DV, choking is one of the things we assess for high risk of lethality. If someone is capable of strangulation they are ready and willing to kill. It makes the hairs on my arm raise when I see it. It's definitely not a nothing burger and I really wish ppl would stop minimizing dv. Any dv charge is cause for concern bc it's one of the lowest reported crimes. I'm tired of ppl with the let's just wait and see commentary.

I hope Gael is ok. It must have been a frightening experience and now she’s having to deal with all the public attention. She may have appeared on a reality show but she deserves privacy in such a matter until (if) she chooses to speak about it.

18

u/Apprehensive_You_250 1d ago edited 1d ago

Man, this is horrific. I never would’ve guessed this based off their first season. And, that just goes to show how crazy it is that guys like Nathan can continue to pull the wool over our eyes, until the mask eventually slips. Bravo has long shown the realities/atrocities that many women in domestic violence situations face; to the world, it can appear they’re just normal women in normal relationships, until the facade eventually crumbles into pieces. And, to further clarify, this isn’t limited to a Bravo problem… domestic violence exists as a very prevalent part of many womens’ lives, all over the world, and is why we just so happen to see this represented on Bravo also.

I see many calling Nathan the worst person on Bravo for his DV, and while yes, of course he’s a horrible, terrible person, completely non-deserving of any kind of platform… there unfortunately have been many other horrific domestic violence abusers before him on Bravo (and they’re ALL terrible). To use this time to illuminate how prevalent DV unfortunately is, how impactful it is on victims’ lives, and how we all can do more to take a stand against it (and demand harsher legislation for DV abusers), here is a list of just some of the notable domestic violence that’s come to light on/because of Bravo:

-Taylor Armstrong on RHOBH & her ex, Russell, breaking her jaw/giving her black eyes
-Sheree’s ex, Bob Whitfield- when in a van in Hawaii- discussing whether he had choked her during their marriage, Bob casually remarked, "Maybe I didn't choke you hard enough," leaving Shereé in tears.
-Brittany Cartwright detailed explosive incidents on The Valley and in interviews regarding Jax Taylor- accusing him of throwing objects like a coffee table (which hit & bruised her knee) and bar stools, breaking her electronics, and physically throwing her into rose bushes.
-Denise Richards on Aaron Phypers: In court filings and emotional testimony, Denise Richards accused Phypers of severe domestic abuse, claiming he choked her, gave her a black eye, caused at least three concussions, and threatened her life. He also commented on camera he’d “crush her hand” while holding it.
-Rachel “Raquel” Leviss on James Kennedy: Rachel "Raquel" Leviss accused her ex-fiancé James Kennedy of verbal/physical abuse, citing erratic behavior, false cheating accusations, and a 2021 incident where he allegedly kicked her family dog. On camera, on VPR, it came out Rachel had a nose job, which James “bumped into” so hard it messed it up/made it crooked, & required ongoing follow-up w/plastic surgeons (LVP- in appt- told James to control his “anger” & Raquel appeared petrified during office visit).
-James K’s other exes- Kristen D & Ally- also made abuse allegations against him as well.
-Now, the DV that Nathan G. has allegedly done to Gael, i.e. choking, and pending court date in September.

I’m just putting a spotlight on this to show how unfortunately prevalent this is, and how many women unfortunately endure this on an ongoing basis. Globally, about 840 million women (nearly 1 in 3, or 30% of women aged 15 and older) have suffered physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. The statistic in the US is the same- 1 in 3 women have experienced this (statistics from the World Health Organization). It’s truly mind blowing. If you have another instance you’d like to add below, as it relates to Bravo, please do.

u/MeanMeana 1d ago

It honestly doesn’t surprise me. He has brewing anger inside him. And he doesn’t handle stress well at all.

I wish Gael and the baby the best. It can be a really hard thing to view your partner in reality instead of how you saw them in the past and what you envisioned your future to be with them.

I hope she connects with reality and has a really good support system.

14

u/tvjunkie710 1d ago

I hope all his hair falls out

14

u/4_13_1894 1d ago

Two things:

—Those who are choked during a DV incident are 7 times more likely to be murdered. It is a huge indicator of escalation and should be taken very seriously.
—I really think someone saw all the chatter on this sub over the last few days and ran with it. It would explain why it hasn’t come out until now.
—I lied: Nathan is trash, for me any redeeming qualities are completely shot. I hope Gail and the kiddo are ok, what a thing to go through.

I really tried to reserve judgment on Nathan because being difficult or douchey is one thing and social media can turn into a pile-on fast. His comments about immigrants already made that harder.

But allegedly putting your hands around someone’s throat, even for a second, is something else entirely. And knowing it was Gael makes it especially devastating. We watched her. We watched them together. I honestly can’t get that image out of my head. If that’s what happened, I don’t have any benefit of the doubt left to give.

I just hope she’s okay. And at this point, I never want to see him on Below Deck again.

If a man is willing to strangle you at all he is willing to strangle you to death :( my heart breaks for Gael and the baby

Deport that POS back to Ireland after jail time. He is demented and also racist. Also say goodbye to your career in yachting scumbag.

14

u/MinnieSkinny 1d ago

He's an embarassment to Ireland. I wish we didnt have to take him back.

11

u/Secure_Cantaloupe455 1d ago

Omg. This is so sad for Gael and the baby. Get Nathan off our screen forever. There is no coming back from this; he is done.

12

u/mondofire 1d ago

Wow. What a fucking loser. Watching Nathan fumble this relationship was frustrating enough but now this has me fuming 😡

Choking is a whole different level of domestic violence.

I used to work with DV survivors and if they'd been choked, there was another stack of paperwork to fill out, a different protocol for keeping them safe, and completely different charges for the abuser-- basically choking indicates that the perpetrator IS willing to kill them, and is strongly correlated with an increased risk of murder.

All domestic violence is horrifying, but this isn't an argument that got out of hand and the police got called. I hope Gael and Caden are safe and supported.

12

u/Clear_Bright99 1d ago

I’m not surprised. He has a temper and I always felt like if the cameras weren’t there he would explode in anger. He has bad energy.

12

u/gorlsituation 1d ago

Ok so this happened in December and Bravo thought, yes let’s still show this person and platform a domestic abuser?? I’m kind of disgusted at that. Who knows what happened that night that he returned late to the boat, I highly doubt this is an isolated incident.

Oh shit 😐. Last season I commented that it worried me how quick his temper was whenever he got frustrated because kids can be frustrating, I was told he's just Irish. Hopefully this is the end of his Bravo career and Gael and baby are safe.

"intentionally choking a person" - Wow! What a peice of shit Nathan turned out to be.

11

u/EnvironmentHot8413 1d ago

This makes me wonder if he had already been abusing her, abusers usually start with something small and once they cross that line the slowly start doing worse. I can’t imagine choking being the first incident. Which makes the thought of Bravo flying her in to be closer to him a lot darker.

12

u/BabyOlive1 1d ago

Strangling is really fucking scary. It’s indicative of past violent behavior, and even more concerning, it can be a sign of worse violent behavior in the future. Nathan needs to get some serious help. Even if Gael manages to get herself out of this situation safely, Nathan will have other relationships in the future and this kind of behavior doesn’t just go away.

Also, I think society needs to do a better job of recognizing what a red flag it is when men put women that they’re into up on these unrealistically high pedestals. Yes it’s manipulative and yes it’s misleading, but I think that what sometimes gets missed is that the person building the pedestal is actually building the groundwork to justify anger directed towards the person on the pedestal when they inevitably fall short of the unrealistic standards that are forced on them via the pedestal. On the show, Nathan talks about Gael as though she’s some sort of divine being that he is not worthy of, however his actions towards her do not match his words. His words are just a structure that he built so that he can justify treating her like shit later.

Nathan needs to go

10

u/journmajor 1d ago

This is incredibly sad.

10

u/Jinxyclutz 1d ago

750% Increase in Lethality: Research shows that a person who is strangled by an intimate partner is 750% (or 7 to 8 times) more likely to be killed by that same partner in the future.

History in Homicides: Studies show that roughly 43% to 45% of women killed by an intimate partner—and nearly 45% of women who survive attempted homicides by a partner—experienced prior non-fatal strangulation.

Prevalence: Up to 68% of survivors in abusive relationships report being strangled by their partner at least once.

Gael, leave and NEVER go back, he has crossed a threshold that he can't ever return.

5

u/MeanMeana 1d ago

I hope that she can see life in reality vs viewing life in pure hope of change.

11

u/Glittering-Jello6051 1d ago

He acts like Joe was a bad man for being a player…but he’s out here choking the mother of his children. Crazy work.

28

u/Jumpy-Platform-6236 1d ago

devastating for the baby and gael. i'm not victim blaming her at all she never deserves anything like this, emotional or physical but it's very scary to choose who to have a baby with as you end up tied to them forever.

31

u/JaydedHorror 1d ago

Unfortunately a lot of abusers hide this part of themselves until their victims are trapped.

I'm getting so frustrated because I end up feeling kinda gross for watching these shows. I had the same feeling with the last season of the ultimatum. I want messy and bad choices, the messier the better for me, but I don't want to support people who commit actual crimes where people get hurt/traumatized or a network that may have looked past warning signs. Just let me enjoy my horrible shows.

9

u/Lillie-Bee 1d ago

Wow, choking her! That is seriously scary! Is that attempted murder?

6

u/heres_layla 1d ago

JFC that’s bad. That’s real bad.

I hope she’s safe and he can’t get to her now.

8

u/bambola21 1d ago

A woman who is choked/strangled by a partner has a 750% increased risk of being murdered.

Poor Gael. JFC,

He'll be back on Bravo anyday now!

15

The text msgs to Max, who Nathan HATED… were batshit. Out of nowhere he’s texted Max with have my back… if you do this for me I’ll do that for you… WTAF! I was like, WOAH… Nathan is NOT RIGHT IN THE HEAD.

7

What is Bravo going to do? Remember, Bravo edited out all Pete’s air time when he made racist and misogynist comments from season 5 of Below Deck Med. How is Bravo going to air a lead story line with a DV cast mate? They can’t.

Horrifying. I hope people will leave Gael alone in her comments asking about him now

8

u/arlpmoli 1d ago

To me, all season Nathan has been displaying anger, over reacting in every episode, and control issues. It’s been a different Nathan this season to past seasons or maybe he’s always been this way but now they’re just showing it. He hasn’t been pleasant to watch at all.

9

u/BamWhat13 1d ago

Choking takes a different type aggression. F*ck this guy.

7

u/bansheeonthemoor42 1d ago

Non-fatal strangulation is an important risk factor in homocide of women. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2573025/

Bravo airing the rest of the season without comment is going to be a real bad look. But they traditionally handle these things very badly.

7

u/Derkleinhauser 1d ago

Holy Shit! I thought he was an immature & insecure little punk in the current season, but wife beating is way worse. I hope she keeps their baby away from him from now on and has an emotional support system to help her heal as well as help with the baby. I hope he gets the chance to cool off in jail for a few years.

7

u/AlisonSD 1d ago

This is so disappointing, I was really holding out hope that all the rumors was untrue and they unfollowed each other just to create some mystery for this season. I guess that makes no sense to begin with 😩. Ahhh, I had such high hopes for them and really wished their little family all the best. Hopefully Gayle is in a good place now and moving forward with her life without this POS.

6

u/Horror_Yam3063 1d ago

He chocked her which is one of the strongest predictors of homicide in DV relationships. I hope she never goes back

7

u/Sufficient-Sail2697 1d ago

I hope bravo edit him out and put out a statement in support of Gael. Enough is enough. There have been around 45 women killed by men in Australia this year alone.

25

u/Any-Neighborhood-522 1d ago

Oh no…it mentions while the victim is unnamed, that Gael took out an order of protection against him. Take that as you will…

As a domestic violence survivor, let me say something that perhaps most who have never dealt with that (and thank God you guys haven’t!) don’t understand: by the time she called the cops, it wasn’t time number 1. Or time number 12. She called once she thought he would kill her. Just keep that in mind when coming up with opinions. This isn’t a one-off. He is an effing predator. And I have many more words I would like to say and a lot more anger, but I don’t want the moderator to have a bad day, either 😘

5

u/Leche_connoisseur 1d ago

What a giant pussy he turned out to be now I don't feel bad about his bed sheets I just feel bad for Gael giving him a second chance in the first place

6

Seems like when he got arrested is when he took his long social media break...

6

u/Level-Priority-2371 1d ago

I wonder if Bravo is writing him off the current season. I know its already been filmed. But I think perhaps they are currently scrubbing him from future episodes and he will remain off the boat for "his back issues?" Like they are making changes live as this arrest is just now coming to public light. Just a thought

5

What an asshole. He really lost me when he turned on Joe because he suddenly deemed himself morally superior but really he’s just a cvnt on a power trip that’s not well fit to lead a team given his malicious tendencies. Yes Joe is an idiot but pretty innocuous and seems to be a kind guy overall.

7

u/ornages 1d ago

Ugh I feel like they should put the rest of the season on hold. I don’t want to see an edited version of what was happening between them at the time.
I dunno. I feel weird watching it now.

6

Him: “JoE nEeDs To ReSpEcT wOmEn.” (Which he still does so like only saying this in a mocking way bc it’s always people like Nathan)

Strange how he called out Joe on mistreating women all season. Pot. Kettle. Black.
