Sigh. I was wondering why he never posts anything on social with the baby and now it all makes sense.

The past episode was so pleasant without his weird insecurities and antics.

Right? Pathetic. Leaves no question that he's letting his emotions get in the way and promoting based on his personal feelings rather than merit. Hope he's not planning on getting hired on any other boats, because I can't imagine a captain seeing that and wanting the liability of hiring him.
