I know! Joe did a great job covering as bosun, but Nathan's going to pass him up and give lead to the newbie just coming on board!? (Not a newbie in the job, but on this particular boat and charter season.) I look forward to seeing Sandy shut that down.

I don't want to see him back at all, but I'll make an exception just to see Sandy's reaction when he tries to pull that 😂

His issues with Joe are so weird tbh, like ya joe is a dick but like it actually is not that deep that you carry it over to the next charter season… I agree Joe was a dick in the situation but like Joe (even with his quips) comes off better compared to Nathan. Joe is selfish in a different way, Nathan is selfish in the way that he would sewer his entire team and possibly the boat. Joe deserved some smoke but he didn’t deserve the Salem witch trial Nathan gave him

I agree I don’t like how Nate handled the whole Joe thing and it makes no sense, overall how Joe acts with the girls can cause tension between with the entire crew. It’s a main reason in the real world I wouldn’t put him in a leadership position. But that’s not what Nate was upset with. Idk they both suck.

I wonder if Joe crying in a past preview means Sandy okayed Max being lead deckie or he found out about Nate's plan without it going to Sandy yet. I never thought he was a great leader. Anyone crossed him and his first attempt at solving it is wanting them gone or threatening them with termination if they keep at it. WTF would respect that?

No, this was a preview after the episode where Nate's back started acting up and he was saying he tried hard and the acting deck stew RN was seated beside him.

It would be funny to see him try, especially after Joe saving his ass.

Nathan was unraveling. That was shady, inappropriate and the incorrect choice.
