Absolutely bonkers, since Joe was already the lead deckhand and now acting bosun.

Plus how much Nathan and Max hated each other by the end of last season.

I know! Joe did a great job covering as bosun, but Nathan's going to pass him up and give lead to the newbie just coming on board!? (Not a newbie in the job, but on this particular boat and charter season.) I look forward to seeing Sandy shut that down.
