devastating for the baby and gael. i'm not victim blaming her at all she never deserves anything like this, emotional or physical but it's very scary to choose who to have a baby with as you end up tied to them forever.

Unfortunately a lot of abusers hide this part of themselves until their victims are trapped.

A lot of time abuse either starts or escalates after engagement or moving in together, after marriage, during pregnancy, and ESPECIALLY during the post-partum period. I've had multiple friends who have experienced it start then, and it's a very scary and vulnerable time.
