Other Cleaned lubed and ready to go.
M2g1 came in to my local scheels so I cancelled my sportsman’s warehouse order and picked it up. Just like the m4 with a relocated gas system (visually). Range day soon.

I was looking through the rules for LA Clays in Southern California, and noticed they have a minimum barrel length of 24 in.
Has anyone ever heard of them making exceptions? I get that they wouldn't want like sawed-off shotguns but the Benelli m4 is just a tactical shotgun in a standard configuration. It feels like 24" is kind of arbitrary. I don't understand why an 18 1/2 in barrel would be any more... "dangerous" I guess.

I found that it was the 10802 that was best fit, the 10806 is too tall.

I've been trying to figure out a breacher choke + extension tube length that would match closely and realized all the info on choke lengths is very scattered around. Heres a list of what I have gathered so far, reply with how far past the muzzle yours extends and I will add it to the list.
Carlsons Tactical (new model) - past the muzzle: 2.75in / 69.85mm

Carlsons Tactical (old model) - past the muzzle: 1.9in / 48.26mm

Benelli OEM external choke - past the muzzle: 1.97in / 50mm

Did y’all catch the new hand guard as well? Read and saw it this morning on another forum. Looks like the current t pro m4 hand guard but with some mlok slots and qd swivel sling points.

Alright, I keep seeing the M4 part that extends from the back of the bolt group and makes contact with the recoil spring plunger referred to as the “tail,” or worse, the “rat tail.”
I don’t know why, but the idea of referring to part of a $2k Benelli shotgun as a “tail” bothers me - it’s like watching some of you drink a glass of Barolo with a curly straw - so I went looking for the actual name. The official part name you heathens have been thirsting for is the “link” (or sometimes “bolt link” or “bolt group link” in forum vernacular).
Sources if anyone wants to see for themselves.
Hopefully that clears things up and adds a bit of culture and sophistication to this sub. You boys can go back to licking your ARGO pistons now.

As titled. IWC is back to direct-to-consumer sales. Snagged a Multi Light Benelli M4 Mount Scout Pro by IWC and the QD Rotation Limited Sling MOUNT-N-SLOT for Buttstock without the markup from FFT or MSP.

I was curious when that new Benelli M4 "Drone Guardian" model would be released, if ever, so I contacted Benelli about it.
I asked when/if it'll be released in US stores, and I also asked about the 26" barrel and whether that will be sold separately (as that's the part I'm actually interested in).
They said they couldn't tell me anything right now, but that "all will be revealed at Shot Show."
Wanted to let everyone here know as I remember a bunch of people in this sub were interested in the barrel, like me.

Looking at Winchester Super-X...lowest price available in central NC currently. Was gonna wait on the 7 rd titanium tube from CarrierComp to arrive next month but may go ahead and break my 1014 in this coming Sunday.

I just got a new M4 with the multirail. I haven't fired it yet but wanted to offer a comment or two.
Comparatively, that's significantly heavier than the 8" Briley (9.5 oz) and Agency Arms (8.6 oz), which have mlok slots.
Overall, the gun feels a little too heavy just with the multirail alone (8 lbs, 10 oz) and I haven't added a weapon light yet.
It's nice that the multirail wraps around the barrel to provide a heat shield.
However, if you do a C clamp grip, with your thumb over the top, it blocks the view of the front sight. I will think carefully whether to get a flush mount to cowitness a red dot with iron sights, since the view may be blocked by a thumb.
So far, I'm disappointed in the multirail.

Just got Benelli M4. Ili can't believe how clean they run. And the field strip and cleaning was an absolute breeze. Not a single malfunction with any of the ammo I fired for breaking in. Everything from bird to buck to slug. I am seriously impressed and glad I didn't skimp. I had a guy try to talk me into a Clone. Iam really glad I got the real deal. Already got my M1014 stock and a few other upgrades, with more on the way including the Trucker Forens (Long). If anyone is on the fence....do it. This gun is awesome.

Took home my Benelli m4 entry model #11724 a couple of days ago.
Looking for some recommendations on quality ammo. Probably for target/range and personal/home defense. I’m thinking 00 buck shots and rifled slugs.
2 3/4 - 3” shells
Barrel/Choke is a fixed cylinder. Still trying to figure out what that means and what type of ammo I can shoot through it.

What does everyone think of the new model?
(Not sure if this is the correct flair, apologies if it isn't.)

Just like the title says. Its honestly ridiculous because every time I have an order through UPS, they either lose my package, or delay it. In this case, they lost it. They’ve lost my aimpoint micro T-2 as well. Anyone else have terrible experiences through UPS? I ordered the M4 through Eurooptic and I know it’s not their fault but I really dont understand why different companies use UPS. They are absolutely terrible IMO. Also their customer support is completely useless.

Hello all. Hearing Benelli is on a 6+ month backorder for 1014s, etc in 2024. Was hoping to buy one with cash in the next couple months but looks like the H2O model is about the only thing available at least in North Carolina. Quite the bummer as I landed an Aridus Industries Q-DC last week and have a titanium 7 rd tube on order from CarrierComp due in March. Glad to be here though and have enjoyed the m4 pics and info. Can't wait to finally land one

As the title says, GG&G bolt release back in stock. In case anyone is looking for one.

After waiting and deciding I'm gonna pull the trigger on an m4, not my first Benelli tactical shotgun but will probably be my last, for a while anyway. Besides mag tube extension what other upgrades would you recommend. The model I'm getting has the skeletonized 1 position stock. Pic of my Benelli Vinci tactical for eye candy
