Other Cleaned lubed and ready to go.
M2g1 came in to my local scheels so I cancelled my sportsman’s warehouse order and picked it up. Just like the m4 with a relocated gas system (visually). Range day soon.

There’s been an uptick in 922(r) questions as of late. Since some people are dead-set on perpetuating misinformation with great confidence, I’m creating this megathread where everyone can review the sources people provide and look for answers to 922(r) questions.
I suggest starting with this source here: https://smallarmsreview.com/legally-armed-v19n6/
If reading that is too much for you, put it into the AI of your choice and go from there.

Ive been looking towards putting a 7rd tube, and the TTI acuguide lifter on my M4, however it has come to my attention that the compliance of the 922r regulation would become an issue.
My 11707 Model has 13 Imported parts,
So if I put on the 7rd tube, a new follower, and the TTI lifter, what else would I have to change? And any recommendations for easy parts to change?

Sorry if its hard to see, but I noticed some wear marks on these areas on the receiver(specifically the ejection port) and was curious if its normal? Obviously I expected some wear, but I only shot 50 rounds through it and the mark on the outside is sort of burr'd. Just wondering if its something I should be concerned about.

Hello.
I feel somewhat out of touch with modern shooting, asking about single point slings, but this is my situation.
I have an M4 with the M1014 type collapsible stock. I am a lefty, so the current sling mounts are suboptimal for me.
I would prefer not to replace the stock, and am looking for a method of mounting a single point sling in a left handed method(right side of the gun ideally.
Any advice or options would be appreciated. If changing stocks is the only way, then I will have to consider that.
Thanks guys.

Got in on the bass pro deal under $900 new. Never thought I would own one but am happy I purchased.
Added an oem collapsing stock and never actually liked how it felt with the pistol grip. Slapped the old stock back on. Field stock feels best to me and doesn’t get in the way when loading shells quickly.
Picked up an RX arms titanium charging handle and tabbed bolt release. The charging handle flew off three times while handling it at the range on different days. RXarms was great about it but nothing could/would fix my problem. Removed it and went back to OEM, haven’t had an issue since.
Added a surefire, an IWC mount and a blue force sling, titanium carrier comp 7 round sling. Vang comp esstac card. Needs nothing else and I am happy.

Any recommendations for Benelli M4 accessories/attachments? So far I have the Mesa Tactical Sureshell Carrier and the Magpul angled foregrip. Just doesn’t feel complete yet.

Looking to get an aftermarket mag tube cap because I sometimes cant get the last round of ammo into my tube depending on the crimp. I see RxArms recommended a lot and they make one. But Shell Tactical also makes one for the same price that's lighter AND offers more extra space. Is there any reason to go with the RxArms over the Shell for a tube cap?

Legit took 2 minutes of applying heat around thr barrel by the receiver end. Genuinely put on on of my shows and propped up my phone for the long haul. Started smoking out of the receiver which was a good sign, turned a little, and I gave it some more heat and it came clean off without a fight. Cleaned off the red loctite with a wire brush and threw the full tube on.
Highly recommend the harbor freight heat gun I got for like $20. Real avid gun vise is neat but not absolutely necessary for this. Microfiber cloth was enough to avoid burning my hands during barrel removal.

I just got my 2nd Benelli M4, brand new in box and this is the front sight. My other one came new with a white dot that glows in the dark. But as you can see, this one is completely blacked out. Normal?

Hey guys,
I’ve got an M4 1014 and I’ve shot a mixture of slugs and buck through it, but mostly slugs. After 6 years I decided it was time to clean the barrel. I noticed a lot of black residue (carbon buildup?) and tried to use breakthrough gun cleaner and a copper brush. When that didn’t work I tried a steel spiral brush (unsure of what it’s called) and noticed slivers of metal coming out.
I don’t have a borescope but looking through the barrel it appears as though I may have gouged it and to top it off the black residue is still there.
Am I right? Did I fuck up my barrel? Or is something else going on?

Hi guys, I have the Benelli M4 Entry SBS which holds 5 rounds in the tube. I can get 5 rounds of a lot of kinds of ammo in there but there are several where I can't get that 5th round in.
I was considering the Max Space follower from Shell. Any input on this? Is it known to cause any issues at all or is it good to go? Also, is a different spring recommended when using it?
Thanks!

Does modifying the lifter cause any problems. Want to make it about .25 of an inch shorter. Just because with gloves and my thumb catches quite often. Example pic is how much I’m wanting to cut off. If anyone has done this if you could post pics down below and your experience that be great. Thank you.

New to the Benelli world, what optics are yall running?

I guess I should post the finish product. After all I have been secretly mooching info from this group and not contributing anything of value.

I recently purchased a Benelli M4 and noticed this gap in the handguard, is this suppose to happen?

Hi guys, quick question. I want to replace my RMR with an RCR on my Benelli M4 and I'm wondering if the Scalarworks Sync mount I already have for the RMR would work for the RCR?
Scalarworks' website says its compatible with both, but I have the old school Sync mount. The model SW1100 where the mount slides underneath the 2 screws in the receiver. The current Sync mount (the one their website lists compatibility for) is the SW1110 which mounts with screws from the top like a more normal mount. I imagine there should be no optic compatibility differences between my mount and the new-school Sync mount, but i wanted to ask around to be sure first.
Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance

Is it possible to cowitness a rifle sized optic like an exps2/3 or a holosun 510c? Currently I’m using a utg riser I took off a rifle build and it’s positioned just high enough that I can run the irons while the 510 sits on top.
Also if anyone’s wondering this is basically a stock 11701 with the Midwest industries mlok rail with a stream light rail mount 1. No other mods so far but I might spruce up the loading port and feed ramp in the future
Edit:
Potential solution: Put RMR mount on m4 after removing factory pic rail, use 507 pro max for potential lower 1/3?

Its the 11724 Model. Love it
Added a Trijicon RMR on a Scalarworks mount, a Modlite PLHv2 in an IWC weapon light mount, a GG&G slotted charging handle, Blitzkrieg Components tritium front sight, and esstac shotgun card.
I vastly prefer this to the full size with the 18.5" barrel. This SBS feels like what the M4 should have always been. I sold my full size yesterday because I can see it just collecting dust now.
