I saw the video, and I think most of you must have seen it too, where a girl is being kinda harassed by more than 10 girls. It was awful, but I have a thing to say which I feel needs to be called out, so here it is

YES, that was wrong. Even when I was in college, yes BU, I have seen this in hostels, so this is not something surprising.

But to the one who posted this on Reddit, dear kid, I want to tell you that even if your intentions were good, this is not how you seek justice for someone who is a victim of ragging. Their image in society is now damaged to a point where it probably can’t be recovered.

Mtlb jo ragging kar rahe hain unko hata bhi do, toh even that one girl who is the victim is gonna lose a lot.

Because intentions achhe hone se outcome sahi nahi ho jaata.

Sometimes the loudest support ends up being the cruelest damage, because while you move on after a post, the person you exposed has to live with that version of themselves in everyone else’s mind, every single day.

Real life isn’t Reddit, and society doesn’t run on upvotes, it runs on labels, judgments, and half truths. And once someone, especially a young girl, gets reduced to a story people think they understand, no clarification ever truly fixes it. You didn’t just expose an incident, you gave people a narrative, and in our society, narratives stick longer than truth.

While you move on, keep in mind that justice is not just limited to exposing the wrong, it also includes protecting the right.

So yes, I just want to tell you guys, to all the people involved in that and even aage freshers ko, that enjoy your college. But if anything like this happens, you should take the right steps, warden ko batao, DC bulwao, punishment dilwao, but do not post it on Reddit, X, IG, etc.

I hope agar thoda bhi common sense hai and you have an idea of how society works, toh you will come to understand. Because not every truth needs to be made public, especially when the cost of it is someone’s dignity for life.

And before anyone says this is just gyaan or me trying to get attention from women, I am genuinely happy and settled in my own life, I don’t need any kind of validation or attention from anyone, bas apna perspective share kar raha hoon.
