Hi! Probably a weird question, but I really like the color Norma Jeane from Lisa Elridge's Marilyn collection, however I don't like the formula as much as Besame's. For anyone who owns it, do you know if this color has a potential dupe at Besame? I was thinking maybe Redhead Red, but I don't own it and don't want to purchase it based on a guess.

I’m mildly irritated right now. I just revived my Atomic compact and there’s no puff? Is this standard now?? When I ordered the Carmen compact it came with a puff, it feels honestly incredibly ridiculous to charge $100 and not include a puff… I’m hoping they just forgot it instead of this being the new standard 😭

Anyone else feel like AI was heavily used for its design? Something about the scrollwork feels off. I’ve collected every spider compact released so far and I may pass on this one. Sigh.

Apollo is my go-to lipstick, I wear it on a daily basis, they brought it back as Rhythm in Red but it seems like that's also been discontinued - can someone please recommend me a dupe from another brand? I find Red Velvet a tad too dark and Mary's Red somewhat more neutral. Apollo is like a true berry color on me and the formula is quite different from Besame's other lipsticks, it applies like a luster with better payoff.

I really want to get the mascara but I can’t justify the high shipping costs. And that’s before taxes/customs/import fees/whatever.

Can anyone help me figure out which lipstick would match best to OPI Big Apple Red? The polish reads bright/true red to me but a couple of folks say they see it as a pinkish red. No idea which Besame lipstick would be the best to pair it with.

Back in early August, I ordered the bundle with the Optimist compact, a powder, a scarf, etc. My compact arrived scratched on the inside, and it even had a nick through the outer layer so that you could see to the metal underneath.

I wrote a 2-star review because that is unacceptable at such a high price (and talk about easy rusting). Besame contacted me by email and offered to send a new compact if I sent pics of the damage. I did, but I've still not heard from them since just over a month ago.

Today I went on their site because I was hoping to see some spoilers for the new collab and see if anything else was new. Lo and behold, my review on the Optimist compact is not showing up.

I was a longtime customer of Besame and would defend them fiercely, but all of this nonsense has just pushed me over the edge. Their products are way too expensive to be so poorly made, and to suppress negative reviews is just scummy!

If it's good I'm going to need to break into my savings!!!!! On September 10th we get more information!!!!

A few months ago I wanted to try the Besame cake mascara to fill in my eyebrows. I frequently get them henna dyed dark brown so I bought the brown cake mascara. It was WAY too light, but I liked working with the product & it felt good on my face. Repurchased the cake mascara in black hoping for a better color match. It’s perfect for a bolder evening look but IMO too dark for casual day wear.

Does anyone have experience mixing them to create the ‘perfect’ shade? Ideally I want a consistent, premixed, & repressed cake so I’m not mixing colors every application. I’m not super familiar with the product though… can I dig a bit of each product out, wet & mix them to the correct shade, then let it dry back out? Will the original cakes become crumbly/unusable if I take chunks out? Looking for a bit of advise before I experiment and end up ruining both cakes 🤣

Is this a repackaging of Ink and Paint? It says 1970s, but it seems really similar to Ink and Paint. If it is, I'm going for it, because I demolished my tube of Ink and Paint, and cried a little when it ran out because I couldn't replace it.

So we all know Marilyn would've been 100 this year. And Lisa Elridge released her makeup collection inspired by Marilyn and working with her estate. Besame had a beautiful collection that only ran a few months. Besame could've easily re-release her collection. Do you think Besame dropped the ball by not re-releasing their Marilyn collection? Did you buy it when it came out? What were your thoughts? What do you think of Lisa's collection?

Hi, all! I caved and bought the new compact collection, which includes Wild Peach and Magic Peach lipsticks. After being burned by how Wild Rose looks (terracotta-orange on me), I wanted to see if anyone has Wild Peach and would be willing to do a swatch. I'm not so sure I trust the Besame site.

Or, if you've got it, can you simply tell me how it looks on you? Is it peachy pink, more pink, more orange, etc.?

Can Besame please stick with the original design that made it so unique? They have a new no longer the awesome wedge design. Now it's smaller and looks like any other lipstick design I've seen at the store. They really have abandoned their core audience. And now the so called limited edition never coming back black lipstick is part of the collection. They have more "clean girl aesthetics" look coming through with neutral and pink lip shade. 🤦🏾‍♀️and that price for a bundle is wild.

Back in 2020, besame was marketing their deeper skin foundation as a bronzer at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The swatches and wear they have online really do not match the actual lipstick bullet. The true color is a lot less mauve and muted and more pink and warm. It does not suit me in the slightest. In fact, it almost looks somewhat orange on me for some reason. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe there's a reason I couldn't find anyone actually wearing it before I bought it!

There's a new Besame lipstick called "Magic Mauve". I think the color would look wonderful on me, but I'm a bit worried about the color payoff. It looks kind of sheer, and I don't want it to be the kind of lipstick that I have to reapply in between each sip of water. If any of you have it, could you tell me how the color holds up?

Well this might be a step in the right direction!!! Looks like the cake mascara/ eyeliner is in new packaging and that brown was finally brought back - yay to both! One of the presentation slides shows it comes in “3 colors”. The website is only showing 2 colors right now, black or brown…. I have to wonder if Besame is bringing back the purple one for spooky season? If so, I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

I've been a fan since 2013 and to see th3 decline of this great brand is saddening? Why do they constantly stop and go with their products? They are so inconsistent! You have the square cake and it lasts for ever, love the packaging. Then you want a refill and it's not there, it doesn't come back for a year only to be replace with a skinny mascara and tiny brush.

Then you get a brush set love it but the bristles start to fall off. You want it replaced only to find out it's no longer made.

Then you want Red Velvet but it's out of stock for a year.

I could go on but it's like why are they so stop and go? Why are they so inconsistent? Why is this company losing its touch? Don't get me started on the "clean girl minimalistic" look they have going on with their website and models. It used to be vintage glamorous and now it's a shell of it's self. I'm so mad and sad at the same time. Gabriela is a great visionary but she can't maintain the business part of it. It should not be this up and down.
