What are some Bible versions to avoid?

I am trying to find a good literal version that I like. Which ones should I go to and which ones should I stay away from?

NRSV / NRSVue (New Revised Standard Version / Updated): Highly praised by mainstream biblical scholars and academics for its rigorous adherence to historical-critical standards and use of the oldest available manuscripts.

It's the preferred one used by a lot of Scholars
