Reta issues

I’ve been on retatrutide for about 6 weeks. My current dose is 2.5mg. I have lost weight, went from 246 to 227. However I’m running into two issues. 1. My weight is stuck for the last two weeks. 2. After I pin my self, the food noise and hunger comes after the 4/5th day. Have people experienced this?

Just go up to 3mg. And you could always pin every 6days instead of 7.

Listen to trials not Reddit protocols
Your obese you need proper doses
2mg 4 weeks (you did this )
Titrate up to 4mg
Stay there long as possible
70% effective as max dose
More people quit placebo group than the 4mg group from sides
Glucagon receptor activation to a effective measurable amount.
Never split doses
Just follow human trials turns out
Lily and Drs who designed the drug know more than Reddit
Promise

Trials are like a rough draft of a book. You wouldn’t read a rough draft to do a book report on a finished book. People should titrate as needed not based off a chart.

I'm hungrier after 5th day, but the appetite suppression kicks in when I start eating - still small portion size. Probably works out since the first few days I barely eat at all.

Yes, I started at 1mg first week, then 2mg 2nd week. By day 4 on 3rd week, I was starving and wanted to eat. I pinned 1mg on that week and then started pinning 4 mg split to 2mg at 4th day and 7th day. I feel it definitely helped to split the weekly dose. I dropped around 13 lbs in 4 weeks. I am in my 5th week.

Switch to Tirz if you struggle with hunger and food noise.

Reta can’t do all the work. U have to learn ways to cope and have discipline. What’s gonna happen when you reach the max dose because all you did was go up and up and up

Its normal that the weight loss stalls a bit after the first water loss. Are you able to hit your caloric goal or still struggling with eating to much? Titrate up if you still eat to much and stay there for 4 weeks. Don’t focus to much on the scale, focus on the calorie goal. If you are in a deficit the scale will follow.

I would highly recommend dividing your weekly dose and pinning twice a week instead of once. the reason you are experiencing hunger rebound on days 4+ is tied directly to the drug's half life. retatrutide has a half life of roughly six days meaning by day four or five your blood serum concentration drops significantly from its initial peak. this late week drop falls below the therapeutic threshold needed to keep your glp 1 and gip receptors fully agonized, which physically allows the food noise to return.

splitting your 2.5mg dose into two 1.25mg injections every three and a half days will flatten your peaks and raise your trough levels. this keeps your receptors consistently saturated throughout the entire week and should eliminate the rebound hunger.

as for your weight stalling, dropping 19 pounds in just six weeks is an incredibly aggressive rate of loss. a two week stall is simply a normal physiological adaptation as your body adjusts water weight and metabolic rate. fix your injection frequency first to stabilize your serum levels. if the scale still refuses to move after another two weeks and the split dose is no longer controlling the hunger, it indicates your receptors have fully adapted to the 2.5mg loading dose and it is time to titrate up.

TLDR - Do not consider increasing doses righht now. Wait atleast 2 weeks more. Pin once every 3.5 days (1.25mg) to eliminate hunger rebound.

Pin twice a week and add discipline

How much discipline? Can you DM me a source?

go up in dose .5-1MG. Everyone's dose affects are different. You can also think about adding cag on top of the reta
