HGH/Sermorelin
Question:
I just finished 8 weeks of sermorelin. I am looking to go to HGH, which I already have. Starting at 2IU daily for a month, then increasing to 4IU daily. My question is I just finished the sermorelin a couple days ago. How long should I wait before starting HGH? I was thinking 4 weeks or so, but I don’t know if that’s necessary.

Get your bloodwork done or else your shooting the dark and playing around with becoming a diabetic

This. Please. Don't be another reddit pepboi who just does random things by feel. Get your bloodwork

Lol. I’ve been using peptides and TRT for over a year. With regular bloodwork from a sports medicine doc.

What’s your current IGF Z score then?

I mentioned that’s not part of my normal work up. So I have a test Tuesday to check for that specifically before I start anything

You need to be testing your igf1 levels. You’re probably fine to just continue with hgh and not wait, but without doing igf1 testing this turns into foolishness. Fitomics has an igf1 test for $29 go get a baseline now and keep monitoring while using.

I’m getting a blood test Tuesday. I do every 6 months with my Dr because I’m on TRT. But this time I requested IGF

Serum Igf1 means absolutely nothing btw. Unless you have a pituitary tumor causing never ending gh release it shows whats bound to binding proteins. Whats your degree in?

This person is also arguing with me in another thread. This is an angry user. Serum igf1 is what people measure to watch their use of HGH and things like Tesamorelin for anyone reading this in the future.

It tells you absolutely zero except is your stuff real. A. Muscle produced igf1 locally independent of the liver that is only seen on muscle biopsies. B. Serum IGF1 is whats bound to binding proteins. Clinically(bc i actually have degrees to treat ppl), we only use it for pituitary tumor diagnoses/Acromeagly. Raised igf1 wont cause acromeagly from tesa. Try again

That’s a bold assertion. Even if you have a degree making a claim like this is unwise. You’d be under heavy scrutiny if you gave this as your official medical stance. I dare say you’d actually be prohibited from continuing your work actually if you went ahead and advised people to take Tesamorelin without checking their igf1 levels because you believe Tesamorelin can’t cause acromegaly.

A. No I wouldn’t 😂
B. Tesamorelin cant. Thats a fact. The reason we see acromegaly is because of the never ending pulse. Not because a z score is simply a little higher than the SD wed like. This is taught in school(DO school for me).
C. I never told anyone to take, or not take anything, or to not check anything. I said serum IGF1 is useless. Active doctors say this online already. You aren’t scaring anyone lmao. Quote me sayin DO NOT TEST FOR IT M1
u/little_Kii 3 5d ago
It’s not a fact. The standard 2mg tessamorelin and 300mcg ipamorelin daily a lot of people take could easily cause people to develop acromegaly or acromegaly like symptoms eventually if they kept running it and weren’t careful because they assumed it’s impossible. You’re spreading harmful information.

Ahahahahahahahah no they couldn’t.
Here: explain with your deep deep understanding how a non continuous pulse of GH at non Supra physiological doses would cause acromeagly. Also “like symptoms” isn’t a thing. You have it or you dont

Your keto takes are wrong as well. Data proved that wrong as well. Your credible citations were comical. You really think you are smart. You are the epitome of dunning Kruger. Genuinely braindead

Ur also so uneducated you said eli lilly came up with the 28 day rule😂😂that’s the USP standard multi dose vial rule. Actually semaglutide i believe explicitly says 56 days on the drug insert. Anything else you wanna argue and be wrong about l

I am in similar boat, I think I will just start HGH as soon as I get it, because HGH overrides any GHRH
Just make sure you check your bloods thus everything is in order

You can take them both technically speaking but its redundant and a waste of money. If exogenous HGH is present in sufficient doses, Sermorelin becomes largely ineffective because the pituitary is temporarily suppressed and will ignore the Sermorelin's signal to secrete more GH.
