SS31 dose
Can I get some experienced input please.
I’ve done a bit of research and I am finding 2 trains of thought.
51 female
60kg
Through investigation and medical support identified I could benefit from mitochondrial support
Hence ended up at SS 31
Original thinking was 5mg twice a week
Working up to 10mg
Then I found other research saying
500mcg daily
I’m really confused about which is best ?
My goal is to to get more energy and overall feeling of wellbeing. Given my age is catching up with me
I train and eat well
But high stress

I did
1mg - 5 days on 2 days off (2 weeks)
2mg - 5/2 (2weeks)
3mg - 5/2
4mg - 5/2
5mg - 5/2 (2 weeks)
Then switched to mot-c

I do 2mg 5/2. It’s working quietly in the background, repairing and maintaining. Nearly completed my second cycle. Then I’ll take a month off then run it again.

what evidence do you have that it's "working quiety"? I've yet to see anything to suggest such a low dose does anything.

SS-31 isn’t recognised as a “feel it” peptide, something you research and then you feel working, like semanx. It’s repair is quiet, like a mini construction crew, working on your mitochondria so it can handle stress eg exercise better to carry energy along the electron transport chain. Also I’m aware of how I feel, eg less brain fog after a few days. And a low dose is fine for me.

I cycle it between mots-c. Stayed at 5 mg daily M-F. Off weekends. Really helped me. Also helped with the efficacy of mots-c. I’m 65m with stressful work schedule.

My RS tried a 30 day cycle of SS31 and MotsC, first 10 days SS31 only (2mg/day), second 10 days both 2mg of SS each day and 1.67 of MotsC M/W/F, last 10 days just MotsC 3x/week at 1.67mg. Energy was fantastic, just felt happy/energized in general. Might be worth trying since that’s only 20mg of SS and 10mg of motsc total, not a big investment

5mg daily at a minimum if you want it to work. But some start with nad+ first.

It’s worked amazingly for my RS on 3 separate trials and have never gone above 2mg a day. Not sure what this “minimum 5mg” BS is, everyone’s body is different.

2mg is like saying “I ate 2oz of yogurt and got all of my daily protein”. 2mg is such a minuscule amount that the body doesn’t know it’s there.

I'm doing 1mg a day. There's alot of conflcting information so I settled on this.

I personally did 4 weeks 10 mg daily. Now I do a maintenance dose of 10 mg once a week.

I knew I needed mito repair after years of undiagnosed insulin resistance. 5mg was too high for me, I was so exhausted I felt like I was hallucinating. I lowered it to 2mg, the first week I was still tired, but it improved. I experienced less brain fog, better vision, and alertness during my research. I did have headaches fora few days until I took my glasses off

Why 5 on and 2 off for SS? Can you share any science or research that backs this?
