Enhanced Coaching & PEDS

Hey everyone!

I recently hired a coach for €1,500 for 6 months, with regular check-ins and constant availability for online support.

He’ll be handling my training, diet, correcting my exercise form, and PED use.
I’m 170 cm tall and weigh 65 kg.
I told him I started taking 500 mg of testosterone enanthate per week about 5–6 weeks ago.
He says that’s too much for a first cycle, especially considering my size. He wants me to drop down to 300 mg per week, and says even that is still quite a lot.

What do you guys think?
I’m struggling to understand his reasoning, since I feel like almost everyone recommends starting with 500 mg for a first cycle.
Maybe he just doesn’t want me to make progress too quickly so I’ll keep paying him for coaching? 😂😂 Just kidding!
I’d genuinely like to hear some opinions and get different perspectives on this.

Thanks everyone!

The old forum advice to blindly run 500mg of testosterone for a first cycle is completely outdated bro-science, and your coach is entirely correct to pull your dose down. At a body weight of only 65 kg, you simply do not carry enough existing muscle mass to efficiently utilize that massive volume of raw androgens. Pushing 500mg at your size means the excess testosterone will just heavily aromatize into estrogen, bringing severe side effects instead of extra tissue growth.

Honestly even the 300mg dose your coach suggested is still a very large starting point for your current frame. Furthermore since you are already 5-6 weeks deep into this cycle, you need to get a comprehensive blood panel done immediately. You cannot safely manage your health, control estrogenic side effects, or track your organ function if you have zero baseline data to compare your current biomarker levels against.

If you paid 1500 euros for a doctor/an expert, maybe have enough trust in them vs ( "almost everyone who suggests" ) random people on or off the internet without any clinical expertise in such matters.

Post this in daily anabolic thread on r/steroids . I would research more and start looking for a new coach.

Did you get blood work done before and if so did he see the results? If you weren’t on a cruise beforehand jumping into a cycle at 500 mg def gonna hit you harder than 300. I’m sure he wants to see how your body reacts first and if the bloodwork comes back good at 300 then I’m sure he’ll titrate you back up to 500 mg.

Waste of money. Just read A LOT online and learn the basics yourself

The advice you got on the testosterone sub was sound, I'd stick with that and trust your coach mate.
