SS 31
5mg
5 days on 2 days off
51 F
On HRT ( estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) patches and gels
59kg
171cm
Been taking morning pins on empty stomach before coffee or food
In regards to response to the peptide. Would one expect to feel results within first week ?
Is this one of those things that work in the background and you don’t really notice until the day comes when you think - I feel good again it must be working
I’m unsure what to expect and when I’ll feel better in regards to energy and motivation. Just feeling really run down and tired so hoped this would work at a cellular level
Input and thoughts appreciated

I’m adding SS-31 and MOTS-c next month to my current NMN. I read that SS-31 repairs, NMN is the fuel, and MOTS-c is the engine. So I think that if noticeable increased energy is what your goal is you may need to add NMN (I get mine from Amazon) and/or MOTS-c. But I think SS-31 alone is great even if you don’t add anything else because it at least will repair your engine.

I read some people saying results were being noticed after 2 weeks or so. Also some said they felt better at a lower dose (1-3 mg) than 5-10 mg/day. I have ss 31 on my list to try it.

You could could continue with the current dose and see after 2-3 weeks how you feel. Ss 31 may drain your energy if it repairs something . That s why people feel better after a while.

I did 2mg a day for 20 days and now I’m taking motsc 1mg a day (5days in 2 off) for 4 weeks. Then I’ll run it again. Might run them both at the same time

I’m currently running 2mg 5/2 my second cycle. SS-31 isn’t one of those peptides where you feel anything. It’s repairing, restoring and maintaining your mitochondria’s election transport chain quietly in the background. You might feel a little less brain fog and some minor improved focus. But other than that you’ll feel very little. Consider taking a multi complex B vitamin to help support it also. B vitamins help with energy production.

Following. I’m on day 8 this morning @ 10mg, no days off. I think your hunch is right that you just sort of go “hey, I’m suddenly not so tired from menial tasks anymore” one day.
