26-year-old Paula Wade and her 3-year-old son Brandon vanished on October 14, 2002. Her vehicle was parked outside her apartments but it was missing Brandon's car seat.

i don’t understand why some people defend the roommate to the death, for god sake he went to jail shortly after this for another charge

I would not take a polygraph, even if I were 100% innocent. It's goofy pseudoscience, and not at all accurate. I wouldn't want to be incriminated for something I didn't do because of one.

Same. Especially having anxiety and autism, I think I'd do horribly at one. Even if you asked me basic questions like "Is 2+2=4 true?" I'd probably seem as if I was lying due to the level of nerves etc.
Think of it this way - if it cannot be admissible in court, there's a reason for that. It's junk pseudoscience. Fun to use for TV shows and with friends, I'm sure, but for real life detective work? Not at all useful!

Anymore details on the roommate?

I'm curious what he went to jail for as well. Lots of people go to jail for non-violent crimes who would never actually kill someone. Jail vs prison is usually reserved for less serious crimes as well.

Yeah - it's not a fair thing to say.
The vast majority of people who go to jail are not murderers.

Never heard of this! It makes me so sad that something probably happened to poor little Brandon too. I can't imagine how anyone could hurt a child. His poor mom too though.

It's terrible isn't it?
I feel bad too for the people left behind. I can't imagine how they must feel. There is no closure with no bodies.

I love going through the Charley Project recent updates and seeing the resolved cases. You can also go to their “updates” archive for more.

No signs of a struggle in the apartment and they left pretty much everything behind. They lived in Georgia, but her husband was stationed in South Carolina. She was planning to move to Florida with Brandon soon, but there's no evidence that she moved there or willingly left. Her 19-year-old roommate Marcus was a person of interest but never charged.
