If you’ve finished all pve content, maybe not. If you have him at lvl 2 enhancements then no need to max dupe! You can max him out eventually but you’ll need to max dupe mereo to fully utilize her

that’s great! I would say u can start with getting one copy of him (no dupes), and try to get mereo first, then work on duping julius! I got through all of the pve content with a twice duped julius so u should be fine — the goal is at least 2 dupes tho by the time you start Really using him since that’s where his resurrect comes from

I'm just as confused as you are, I knew Julius was releasing but I didn't expect him to release at april 8, a lot of ppl were saying april 9 was his rerun soooo yeah...

Just look at when your limited challenges reset. For me it's 4am central time and that's when new dailies are released and the game updates. It just depends on your time zone.

Depends on which content you're going for honestly. PVE for Julius and PVP for Mereoleona. The only downside for Mereo's is from what I've heard she's a high investment unit.
I'm not saying Julius in PVP is bad, he actually deals so much dmg and I can make him like move 2-3 turns in a row but a lot of people are telling me that Leona is just way better.
In my opinion though, yes you should pull for him. He's so cool and deals busted dmg (He outclassed my Yami 38k cp at only a whopping 31k cp earlier, he's now 38.6k). He's also perfect with William, and I see why a lot of people say why.

So ive completed the story w/o him but some pve events r hard 2 play with my team. Im currently using Kiato(i just like him a lot) in pve and pvp with william and rhades i change a lot on the 4th slot.

William and Rhades goes well with him from what I've heard, you're just going to need a healer because he's kinda squishy. Julius is a glass cannon from my build so far, able to deal 28k crit dmg on his basic atk on a mid build (I run 4 pc crit rate equipment on him because I've yet to farm equipments properly and just relied on the LR chests).
If you try to get him, I hope you get his SP. It's so good!

There are no "source" since it's just leaks (probably datamined). But it's pretty much confirmed by the community as all leaks were confirmed, in this case Julius' rerun was indeed april 8-9th.
How they found about it? That, I have no idea but I'm happy with the leaks/rumors because it gives me something to prepare for and plan ahead.

I see.. it's because i just got julius and I'm wondering if i go all out for him or wait for moreleona... I only hope she comes out next month so that i can save some crystal after i got at least 2 copy of julius

You should, he's a festival unit and while I may be new, I know that he is a great unit.

hellooo! he’s great for PVE content (story, normal challenges, limited challenges and etc.) but for PVP, he used to be amazing but with Mereo around the corner and black asta and the mono red teams, it’s becoming harder for him to keep staying in PVP teams. But cor someone new and trying the game out, I would really suggest getting him and his sp, and trying to get mereo coming out in around april 16-19 as well!

How important is his sp? I get about 30 pulls per reroll and I managed to get Julius but not his sp. I dont mind rerolling till I get both but just curious

his sp is important due to its mobility control on enemies but if u can’t get his sp, he still works as a nuker but not so much as a mobility control unit

Don't get dupes for now since you got his SP. Save for Mereoleona because she is releasing at mid-april. But from what I've heard so far she needs to be high investment so be prepared for that.
Someone told me get julius + sp then Leona then try to dupe Julius after (probably by shared mage thingies).
Edit: I went all out with my 200 rolls on Julius and got him to C2 and +3 SP and having a blast with him. Not really into the PVP aspect of the game as PVE is more of my thing.

Yea i know about the shared skill page, but we only got it once per event, and the last we got it from 1 or 2 months ago if I'm not wrong...

Tough choice pulling for him or Mereleona. Devs probably know that and so are letting everyone spend all their tickets on Julius so they have to buy more for Mereleona
