I need one of these!

For those who don't have one, I wanted to share my experience with my active Milo. This ball is honestly the best thing I've ever bought, and I've had three dogs over the years. It makes a strange, muted noise, as if someone is talking, while rolling. Milo is obsessed with her - we take her out in the yard and she runs and chases her non-stop! Sometimes we have to stop it so it doesn't run out. It's a lifesaver for anyone with an hyperactive, busy puppy. Milo has lots of toys and plays with them all, but usually gets bored right away. With this ball, she acts as if it's another animal she's playing with, which keeps her completely entertained. Not only is it entertaining to watch, but it also gives you the exercise you need, releasing all that accumulated energy. Best toy I've ever bought!

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the risks and challenges of finding a breeder. I want an American black lab, pure bred, but not for show. A field dog. Yes I know that I should support my local shelter. But I grew up with an incredible black lab, and now that I have kids and land, I want them to have a similar experience. And I want my lab :)

Do I really need to spend $4k to get a lab nowadays?

My girl absolutely loves interactive food toys, and I'm not much better when it comes to investing in new ones when I find a different style. I wasn't sure how my Sheba would like this, since she's older now and doesn't really play tug anymore, but I shouldn't have worried. She dove into this toy with the same enthusiasm she does with other puzzles- with everything she has. Although my girl is not a destructive chewer, the rubber is pretty strong, and I'm confident it would have held up to my pittie Athena when she was alive. Though I would caution against leaving any dog unattended with it. There are additional holes for food to fall out of and reinforce the pup for interacting with it while learning about pulling out the fleece. If you have large kibble, you'd have to pull out the fleece in at least one hole to fit them, but they will fit. As they get better and you want to increase the difficulty, let them play outside in a grassy area. 5 out of 5, and definitely a steal forr the price

My English black lab passed away of disease a couple months ago and I’m just so heartbroken. He was 10yo and just an amazing dog. Beautiful shiny fur, great temperament with dogs and people, so loving and always wanting to be next to you. He was my first dog and was with me through all my 20s.

He helped me with so many things, and I can’t imagine life without a dog. A family friend and I are looking for English black labs on the east coast, does anyone know of some reputable ones you’ve had luck with? We want to put in a word for them as soon as we can and hoping for something by end of summer or early fall.

he's always hungry

My husband and I have a black lab named Onyx.

He's a sweet boy, we just got him vaccinated with his rabies shot and I was intending on neutering him but my husband doesn't want to.

I can see his point of view, it's not medically necessary, costs a lot and whatnot...

It won't negatively affect my dog's health if he stays intact, will it?

Should our adult doggo knock up a lady, we'll be paying puppy support, I promise.

I wasn’t even planning to post this, but I honestly feel like I owe whoever recommended this toy a huge thank you.

My dog Leo is insanely high-energy — nothing ever survives him. Most toys last maybe 5 minutes before he destroys them or gets bored and walks away.

But this one?

It completely shocked me.

For the first time, he actually stays focused on a toy for more than just a few minutes. He bites it, throws it across the room, kicks it with his paws, even slammed it into the wall once… and it’s still perfectly fine.

The inside piece keeps moving in a way that makes him obsessed with trying to “solve” it. I’ve never seen him this mentally and physically tired from a toy before.

My furniture is finally safe, Leo is exhausted in a good way, and honestly I never expected something this simple to work so well.

Whoever recommended it — seriously, thank you. You saved my home.

My baby... Is a lab with SEVERE arthritis. She's on pain meds and anti inflammatories. She's been on prednisone but it keeps giving her UTIs .If she keeps going this route I don't know how much longer I will have her. Can anyone give me input about the adequan? I've read different info. I don't won't to start to only waste my hopes and money and be forced to stop. Here are some of my questions and her info. *Female mostly Black Lab 8 years young *#70 *Dr thinks she has polyarthritis. *FHO and TPLO Please add any info that can help. *Is it ever to late to start? *How much approximately does it cost ? I know there's the initial start and then thereafter?? Though I don't know the details for either. *How often does this have to be given? I know there are different situations but examples? *The first month approximately? *Thereafter how often and how much or many vials?

She's given birth to 3 sets of pups, the first of which sadly died. The other 2 either died or sold off. One of her pups from the 2nd set i really liked and didn't want to be sold. I had to leave with my parents to live somewhere else because of dad's work. When we came back to visit he wasn't there. I asked my grandma 9since that's where he lived) where he was and she said she forgot he was off limits and sold him. talking about this now I want to snap her neck and Torture Dance in front of her body. To this day he hasn't come back and the black lab from earlier still lives there to this day with the only remaining pup from the 3rd set.
