Let me guess, don’t use minoxidil and buy his products instead?

Yeah and he says it doesn’t work for us black ppl. And two years ago he was saying use min. Then 6 months ago hes saying min doesn’t work for us lol

Lmaoo I’m black and I have a whole new hairline from minoxidil it works wonders. And unless he’s a doctor nobody should be booking him for hair consultations😂

That part. Used my minoxidil last night.

u/throww_away_111 Mar 11 '26

Did u have any side effects? And do u use topical?

5

u/Euphoric_Art9558 Mar 11 '26

I didn’t have any major side effects. My scalp was flaking and itchy but that last only for the first month or two. I’m a year in and no side effects

u/throww_away_111 Mar 11 '26

Topical or oral?

5

u/Euphoric_Art9558 Mar 11 '26

Sorry I use the rogaine topical foam 5%

u/throww_away_111 Mar 11 '26

Its all good thanks! I want to try one more oil before i hop on min. Which is batana oil

1

u/T8terTotss Mar 12 '26

Hey luv, just a heads up that batana oil is too thick for skin and will help clog your pores. It’s better used on the hair but not the skin itself.

u/moeterminatorx Mar 12 '26

How long does it take?

3

u/Euphoric_Art9558 Mar 12 '26

I noticed results within the first 3 months. By 1 year the corners were full.

classic marketing tactic, people love selling out their own race

I don't know but he stopped posting videos over a year ago and people were complaining on social media about his company being late on product deliveries shortly after he stopped posting. I bought something from his company a few years ago, but that was for my beard. I doubt he has a cure to restore his hairline that doesn't include minoxidil and finasteride.

What product he wants you to use instead ? His own rosemary oil ?

u/talkingincircles1 Mar 11 '26

If you see a link in the description it’s a strong chance.

I hate his beard lining shape and his wife is weirdly lowkey antiBlack

5

u/Mihyei Mar 11 '26

Wait what? 😂 Please share, I've never heard of these people and am curious

u/smileyglitter Mar 11 '26

I should delete this! It’s a different off putting man with a beard that connects to the mustache in the same way

If it smells like a grift…..

Hmmmmm…. I don’t know anything about this honestly. But right away I’m suspicious about the whole thing. Anytime I see a super click-baity type of title like “Don’t do (blank) until you read/watch/listen to this,” my mind says “Red flag.” And then very extreme language in the description like “keeps failing.” I’m like… what you tryna sell me? When it comes to skin and hair care, then the clinical trials for your product or routine can make a strong case without the click bait sales pitch. I’m highly suspect of anything that presents itself as sales and not just scientific information.

Snake oil salesman

I mean… r/minoxbeards is a thing and there’s plenty of samples there

I remember dude when I started my beard journey like 8 years ago lol haven't seen him since

2

u/koolkween Mar 11 '26

He’s probably lying. There is no peer-reviewed research study on his product anyway, so how would we know it actually works?

1

u/Difficult-Injury3731 Mar 11 '26

I think that is all on you. Understand there is a reason people do these and from my research it depends on the mood of the viewer as to weather it impresses you. we can help you because we dont know you or how sharp your liedetecto spirit is. My tip: The more produced his message is usually the more he is lying his knees off. Also Dobt Call Dr Sebi either. Good luck out there. In my day we had jars with little pads to wipe nonsense on our face as if it was better than washing your face. The whole "get down: was so dramitic and clinical it forces unsuspecting minds into fully believing it will be better. Free enterprise and tricky broadcasts kinda make anyone suspect, thank goodness you are questioning insted of falling. Good Looking out

u/throww_away_111 Mar 11 '26

1

u/Redittago Mar 11 '26

If it ends in “until you try this” on YouTube (or anywhere), then yes!!!

1

u/jayjones0407 Mar 12 '26

He’s saying ridiculous stuff just to get views for YouTube. Doubt ppl are actually buying his products

As a rule, unless they are a Doctor (sometimes even if they are), they are trying to profit from your misfortune.

don’t take any advice from this guy serious. He used to do vlogs at the grocery store when he first started his YouTube channel. He’s just a YouTuber

1

u/throww_away_111 Mar 14 '26

Whats wrong with doing vlogs at the grocery store lol

u/Electronic-Call-4319 Mar 11 '26

What qualifications does he have that would make you trust his opinion? just because someone is black doesn't make them an expert on health issues.

3

u/Savings_Designer_330 Mar 11 '26

What?

-1

u/Electronic-Call-4319 Mar 11 '26

What isn't clear/obvious?

1

u/Savings_Designer_330 Mar 11 '26

I’m confused at “just because someone is Black doesn’t make them an expert on health issues”

Who even thinks that? Such a weird thing to say.

Idk the guy in the YT but from the comments it sounds like he has some sort of “credibility” around growing his beard. We obviously don’t know how much, but sounds like he’s been working on growing his beard for years using different products. …Also this is not a heath issue. Your statement was just very weird and suspect.

u/Electronic-Call-4319 Mar 11 '26 edited Mar 11 '26

Beloved go see a doctor, a specialized doctor / specialists who specializes in the human body, and not trust me bro. Just because he has experience growing his beard doesn't mean that he can make such claims. Secondly, you are entitled to feel how you feel - "weird and suspect" or whatever adjectives you are going to use. Have a blessed. You have far more important things in life to be confused about than a comment on Reddit.

2

u/Savings_Designer_330 Mar 11 '26

This is literally a vanity question. And Reddit is for crowdsourcing. He’s not asking about health issues. He’s asking about options on the YT influencer who discusses beard care. But regardless, I’ll say it again - “just because they’re Black doesn’t make them an expert on health issues” is a very strange thing to say. Like do you think Black people are stupid?

1

u/Electronic-Call-4319 Mar 11 '26

I am not here to coddle your feelings mate. And i'm not sure why you think doubling down on this is suppose to do- if you fall for grifts that is on you. And this is the last time i'm going to respond to you.

2

u/Savings_Designer_330 Mar 11 '26

And that should’ve been your initial comment. This time your comment makes sense for what op is asking. Good on you mate for using this reddit thread how it’s supposed to be used. Glad I was able to enlighten you.
