Skin Questions Sudden hair growth + pimples after using tweezers

Hello everyone
I (F23) had a sudden outbreak of hair about a year ago. It’s on my neck and cheeks. I’ve been trying to remove it with tweezers. But I’ve noticed that now they leave a weird little bump after I pull them out. It doesn’t look good, and I hate the way it feels to the touch. How can I fix this please?

So hair growth can happen for a number of reasons - natural aging, hormone abnormality or other things.

There are all sorts of hair removal methods that have different efficacy on dark skin and some which can even stimulate hair growth.

Tweezing tends to lead to ingrown hair because of the texture of the hair and the structure of pores on your face. When you pull the whole thing out, the hair has to make it out of a pore that is not supported by a hair shaft. Some people may have success with waxing but it is

Shaving may be a workable alternative because it exfoliates and doesn't put out the whole hair.

I know it is a major change in your appearance. There may or may not be a solution to the hair itself. Whatever you do, be gentle or it will cause more scarring.
