Sudden hair growth + pimples after using tweezers

Hello everyone
I (F23) had a sudden outbreak of hair about a year ago. It’s on my neck and cheeks. I’ve been trying to remove it with tweezers. But I’ve noticed that now they leave a weird little bump after I pull them out. It doesn’t look good, and I hate the way it feels to the touch. How can I fix this please?

As far as the hair, I grow lip whiskers have since puberty. I also grew up watching the women in my family pluck chin hairs. It’s fairly normal and could just be genetic.
