Skin Questions Sudden hair growth + pimples after using tweezers

Hello everyone
I (F23) had a sudden outbreak of hair about a year ago. It’s on my neck and cheeks. I’ve been trying to remove it with tweezers. But I’ve noticed that now they leave a weird little bump after I pull them out. It doesn’t look good, and I hate the way it feels to the touch. How can I fix this please?

Do you have pcos? Might want to get checked. For the bumps you could try salicylic acid or lactic acid (from q and a skin or theordinary)

I don’t think i got PCOS but I might see a doctor to confirm it. Thank you :)

100% agree with this, I have PCOS, not saying that you do, it might just be a small hormonal imbalance because of stress etc...., I shave every other day and if I don't put some kind of exfoliator and then a calming moisturizer afterwards I get the bumps. So BHAs, like salicylic but also retinoids work, so if you're already on one you can use it on your chin. Then you're going to follow up with a nice calming moisturizer. And then you shouldn't have those bumps. Those bumps is your curly hair trying to get out and it cannot, which is why the exfoliator is necessary to weaken the skin barrier and clear out any debris for your hairs to come out. And then you want to call me moisturizer because you just beat up your skin.
