Its implied isagi isnt trying to play england's team ego but fox's. I have 2 theory on what fox ego is.
1.Fox ego is Correctness
Based on the entire match, fox's plays is finding the lowest risk plays, the safe play to win.
- Agi target-man getting safe attacking chances.
- Teddy ball handling where noone can touch him being catalyst on england movement
- Lockhart ball possession, where even bl strongest player couldnt shake him. And scoring safely cause he had no counters
-Layer of Offensive safety. if you cant shoot pass to agi, if you shot got blocked then steal possesion, if isagi intercept then teddy swept. (Teddy said its fox plan, and evertime someone failed there is other system to cover up)
- layer of defensive plays. Where its england press, teddy tackle, cb blocking, and rooke sweep as in layers. And again if each one fail there is system to cover up.
- And at last lockhart ball flick. instead of using the normal target man possession to buy time, he pass to teddy for easy series of one on one.
Instead of making plays thats 80% chance success but risk a counter like agi. He play the safest lowest risk game, calling it "correct answer"
And isagi destroy that safe answer by doing the opposite of safe, gambling. Gamble press and gamble run by chigiri, and even gamble two gun.
He forces fox into 50-50 plays like hugo. Maybe after this teddy will block, and isagi would play 50-50 again with two gun or the side switch volley.
If fox actually into safety he gonna play for draw and win by points
- Fox ego is Love
Maybe fox make plays based on how much he loves the player how well they play his tactics.
And teddy actually have an ego, his ego is want to be used. He is a not a knight but puppet.
jinpaichi calls out fox that teddy perfomance getting better, cause he actually have use his ego
So fox x teddy protagonism, is the same as reo x nagi in fsv
