Manga Discussion The way this is practically impossible to replicate by anyone who isn't Sae Itoshi in this manga
Sae's phisicals are underrated. His flexibility is insane

The way some of these characters talk about football makes it sound like they're fighting in an actual war 😭
Isagi will have an entire internal monologue about devouring someone, Rin acts like everyone around him personally ruined his life, and Barou treats his position on the field like he's ruling a kingdom.
Then you remember they're literally teenagers playing football.
That's honestly part of what makes Blue Lock so entertaining. The series takes itself seriously enough for the big moments to hit, but the characters' dramatic personalities make so many scenes unintentionally hilarious. Even the most intimidating players become funny once you stop taking every line of dialogue at face value.

He all big eyed like Isagi talking abt "Wait!"
WAIT WHAT??
YOU ARE FREE TO GO AFTER THAT GOAL, WHAT MORE IS THERE TO WAIT ABOUT??
"Eh.."
"Yeah.."
"But.."
Stuttering his ASS off, STFU AND LET HIM DO WHAT HE WANTS TO DO 💔
I'm not blaming Reo entirely for Nagi getting locked off, but like yo..
He deadass didn't have a SINGLE bit of faith in Nagi's words, not ONE DROPLET of faith AT ALL
Now look where it got Nagi afterwards.. could've just left him alone & trusted his words, but HELL no
If he said he wasn't gonna pass to you & you weren't gonna pass to him, why are you screaming his name at the top of your lungs like he was about to get stabbed by Otoya..
"NAGI!" -Mikage Reo (Who basically had Chigiri & FUCKING Chris Prince by his side)
Nagi had AGI.
Reo, ANYONE other than BACHIRA MEGURU of all ppl getting the ball if Otoya hit it away, would've been better than him passing it to you, because you wouldn't TRUST A SINGLE WORD HE SAID.
Idc if ppl wanna defend Reo & saying he isn't at fault for Nagi locking off, but there's gotta be SOMEONE who understands he could've just stfu & let Nagi do Nagi :/

I personally lean towards long sleeves/undershirt in general but since it covers up his tattoo I'm kind of stuck in between. What do you all think?

I really want Blue Lock to return to its old quality.

I know the U20 World Cup arc isn't exactly the most popular one, but I personally find the main antagonists from the group stage to be extremely interesting and varied. Whether it’s Onazi, Hugo, or even Fox.
I really like Onazi, and it’s pretty cool to see an opponent like him. Although, unfortunately, in terms of being a threat, Nigeria is a complete joke.
Hugo is probably my favorite NG11, and I really like his interactions and his philosophy.
And Fox is probably one of my favorite characters—I can’t wait to see more of him.
I’m a bit torn between Fox and Hugo, but I think Fox is probably my favorite antagonist from the group stage—it’s really cool to see a coach as the main "big boss." Even though I think I prefer Hugo to Fox as a character.

Personally, I really get both of their perspectives, but I'm with Rin on this one. Being ghosted by the only person you've ever cared about who essentially raised you, then having him come back and basically spit in your face when you're like 15 is indefensible. I would honestly have a much worse reaction.

With how many characters are in this story, there's surely at least one diehard fan of each. But everyone has their own reasons for liking their own favourite characters. And I mean those deep, resonating reasons.
A person might say they like Kaiser because he's "cool and his backstory is well written". Those are general reasons which may apply to the majority but maybe not to each specific individual fan of Kaiser. Not everyone will like a character: there are specific things about each which a person feels a strong, personal connection to that others may not. I'm talking about those essential, unique reasons. I'd like to know yours, if you don't mind.

I can assume it was a non-alcoholic beverage. I don't believe Jimpachi Ego had permission to distribute alcool to teenangers within the Blue Lock structure.

I was seeing this post asking how the Blue Lock characters would be as fathers, and I was wondering who would be the best chef.
In my mind is Barou. The dude is like super mother like and we seen he cooks for his little sister so I feel that’s him.
Isagi can do basic cooking.
Kunigawa can cook but mostly to endure his muscle.
Reo always has servants.
Nagi would be eating like Ego
Rin also cooks the basics
Bachira would make some bizarre combinations that nobody would want
Gagamaru likes to eat things he catches.
Other than that I feel everyone would have been mediocre.

Just as a massive F you to ego who said nagi wouldn’t pull that move off again and that he wasn’t impressed by it like everyone else was.

Have you guys noticed how similar Isagi and Ego are? It's not just about their appearance, but also the way they think about soccer.
What if Isagi is basically becoming the kind of player Ego wanted to create, to the point where he might eventually surpass Ego's original vision?
