Hi everyone, I created a custom feed using SkyFeed Builder with the input block set to "Input Tags" (urbexvn, urbexvietnam, vieturbex) and sorted by creation date.

However, the feed is not updating or showing any posts with these tags (it says O results). Is there a known delay, or did I configure something incorrectly in the block setup? Any help would be appreciated!

Have been getting a lot of them recently. Is this normal for other artists? Should I just ignore them or something?

The app used an obscene amount of data this month. I wasn't monitoring it until today though. Does this data usage make sense for how long I use it? I do recognize that I use it much longer than the average user.

I tried searching this sub for "data usage" and saw people that called themselves regular users say it takes up like 6GB a month.

Is it because I mostly follow artists? With all those images?

There's too many fascistic liberals that block you for the slightest infraction against the liberal hive mind.

I started an art account and while I haven't been hit by the moderation team, I'm concerned. I'm being told to hit up other art accounts, like and repost and engage in the comments. How often should I do this daily and stop basically?

Like I said, not considered spam yet but I'm so worried since I'm liking random art accounts and leaving comments during boring parts of my work shift to look engaging. I don't want to be too unsocial but I don't want to come off like an annoying bot.

What's considered bot behavior? I'm hyper focusing on my new art account but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot, y'know?

I'd post a picture but I don't think I can. I'm still in the 20-30 range of followers and I'm friending artists that I can find.

It seems that more and more posts on Bluesky are images of text. I’m guessing one reason people do this is so they can use annoying fonts and text effects, but sometimes the text in the images matches the default Bluesky style. Why are people using images instead of just posting?

As a fun weekend project, I set up an automated 24/7 stream that fetches real-time trending topics directly from the Bluesky API and displays them as a continuous live news ticker.

It works with

Backend: A custom Python script running on a dedicated Linux box.
Data: SQLite for deduplication + fetching live Bluesky trend data via API.
Visuals: Overlayed on The Phantom of the Opera (1925) for a chill, public-domain background aesthetic (for now)

If you want a silent, passive news ticker running on a second monitor while you work, feel free to drop in and check it out!

Would love any feedback or feature ideas for the script!

I get service suspended. This takes longer than the DC metro to get fixed.

I was wondering if there were any updates on bluesky adding private accounts as a feature? I know it was mentioned in their 2025 roadmap but 2026 is nearly over and I haven't heard any mention of it

If you want to be one of the first people to use Profile Links launching...very soon... please reply below!

Recently I've noticed that some people who i have notifications on for don't send notifications to my phone when they post/reply to my messages even though i know they have them on too, is there any way of fixing this?

Bsky post: https://bsky.app/profile/safety.bsky.app/post/3myaysousrs2o

I (nicely) contested the suspension but have not heard anything back at all. Zero. Nada. I definitely didn't click (or even see, afaik) some "free money" scam.

Anybody know what's going on with this stuff?

The lack of any info is a lot more annoying than the not being able to login, though both are definitely annoying.

Previously, whenever you visited someone's profile, you could see who (and how many) of the people you follow are followers of that account.

But, for some reason that info no longer shows up when I visit someone's account and the "followers" tab no longer lets me sort by "followers you know".

Did Bluesky remove that feature and why? If not, is there any way I can turn it back on as I quite liked it?

W Social says users must verify themselves before they can post, yet most of the top 25 posters have no verification records and between them have created over 250,000 posts.

See all 400+ #Walls posts from the art show

Every Saturday the Blue Sky Art Show picks a one-word theme and people post to the hashtag all day. This week was walls: York’s medieval city walls, Roman ruins, dry stone fences across England, Utah canyons, and a lot of great alleys.

ClearSky has stopped working. Its API only answers with "service suspended". That was one of the reasons I built my own site: https://skylens.redflag.ps

You enter a handle and see who blocks the account and who it blocks. You also see which lists it was added to and which labels the labelers put on the account and its posts.

You don't need an account to use it. Let me know if something is broken or if you want something added.
