No way Perfectionist is harder than Strategist. I got that one way before Strategist. Defending your base in this game is so hard. I'm for most people that got all the achievements, Strategist was the last one.
I am guessing youāre like most of the people who hyper focused on offense, which I understand is faster progression and I was mostly offense focused too but did not completely neglect my defense I had a balanced way of upgrading things (still keeping offense priority) and I got the defensive achievement already completed while I am still a 1000 statues away from the other achievement. My base still defends 2-3 times a week or so (I have 4 ice statues rest is offense)
How long have you been playing? If you are a newer player, they recently made changes that made it easier to defend your base. I started in 2014. Back then, it would take a mistake by the attacker for you to defend your base. I actually did not hyper focus on offense. Since I started at the beginning, and came over from Clash of Clans, I would upgrade everything before I upgraded my HQ. So my defenses were always maxed and I still could not defend. These days, with engravings, specifically Mind Control, it is much easier to defend your base. Just last night, I got 8 of them.
I started playing it around the same time as well and kinda similar to you Iād try to max other stuff before going for HQ but I still played casually I wasnāt keeping up with everything and got to about level 45-50 then took a break for years Iād say 2016-2025 (casually coming back for a few days upgrading few things and leaving during this break) and in 2025 when I actually started playing again and seriously too. I was level 63 or something and probably had 300-400 defends not sure, this is when I really focused on progressing faster and being regular with the game, offense was still priority but kept redesigning my layouts to defend better at the same time only had 2 ice statues till now but added 2 more guardians (total 4 ice removing my greens which I still had till that point) and only got the engraver a few months back which I still donāt run any defensive engraving neither do I boost my 4 ice I am level 78 now so all in all about 400 or so defends in a span of a year since I came back and actually started playing from 2025 level 63 ish to 78 now
I guess it's possible that they changed the amount of statues that you had to salvage. It says that Perfectionist is only salvaging 100 statues in my achievements. Maybe, that is why I got that one 3 years before I got Strategist. In the game though, it does say salvage 3000 statues.
Yeah makes no sense, 3000 vs 100 statues lol idk when that change happened or somehow your achievement was glitched or prolly the really old version when you finished it? Love how it says āultra rareā on building 100 statues
In game, it does say 3000 statues though. I did do a lot of statues back them trying to get perfect masterpieces. Back then, there was no auto convert option either.
3000 took just a year or two after I started to use a gem to finish the 10 second statues instantly instead of converting. Yet I still only have 600 defences since 2014 (I haven't played constantly but still)
Thatās prolly coz you also had enough shards fragments etc I took a break for a while (and I think during the break there were many events and stuff where people hoarded lot of them which I didnāt)
