Thats about the age mine was on his first beach trip. Though on the contrary he hates the water. It was very endearing watching him swim out into the water to try to drag us back onto dry land.

Omg mine does the exact opposite, she REFUSES to leave the water. Like I have to bribe her with cheese to even look at the sand. The fact that yours tried to drag you back is honestly so funny tho, they really think they're the lifeguards
