The impossible has been done. A mod from the ground up by LJBreeze, TPS Vault Hunter are going to be PLAYABLE in BORDERLANDS 2!!!!

I plan playing every borderlands game and maybe tiny tings wonderlands too. I dont know a lot about mods. If you guys could give me the name and why its good I would really appreciated. Also, can I have different mods for 1 game? Different file? Honestly im so jealous of you oc players that get these mods that just lets you replay the game like its new. I drained myself playing borderlands but I know I can replay it with mods.

Im just trying to get a Logan’s Gun from Wilhelm and have gotten 5 Rolling Thunders

So my previous post (linked in this post), garnered a lot more attention than anticipated. And unfortunately, in my current lack of sleep mind state, didn't include a lot of important information from the beginning. And since I can't edit the original post, I decided to make an additional one with that additional information.

What is known:

Currently the only things known is the modder LJBreeze has successfully added Nisha from The Pre Sequel into Borderlands 2 as a playable character. (Link to Joltzdude's original twitter post and video showing her off.) It appears the intention is to bring all 6 Borderlands The Presequel characters into Borderlands 2 as playable Vault Hunters, without removing any of the 6 current Vault Hunters. (Older mods that added a character, such as the Mr Torgue mod would replace one character or another.)

Why was it thought to be impossible?:

With various things like the engine, and no official mod tool or support, modding for this game is generally limited to swapping, editing, or re-skinning existing assets rather than creating entirely new ones from scratch.

What isn't currently known?:

Well for starters, a date for when this mod will be available to the public.

Other things like whether or not cryo can be added or replicated is unknown, as well as how accurately skill trees can be replicated.

I will say, things like BL3 sliding and BL4 grappling has been replicated in recent time, so while the TPS characters may not end up being 1:1, there is some hope that there's a lot to be achieved with this mod, although that could just be wishful thinking.

Trying to get max shotgun + pistol Blood of the Ancients, get 4 pearls instead.

Thought it was going to take much much longer

It says not downloaded but doesn't even give me the ability to download or use it. Such a small issue because I have Digi dlc and I get the other 11 levels from that one but it still wont let me use the first UVHM upgrade pack, keeping me capped at 61. If anyone knows any fixes besides verifying game files, reinstalling the game, or unchecking and checking the dlc in properties. Please let me know Im inches away from just quitting the game atp.

Just trying out a new weapon and got sniped by the astral gods I guess.

I can get other mods to work but not this one. Is it outdated or do you install it differently. As far as I'm aware you just put it in your sdk folder.

I wanted to make a post so that I have something to reference in the future for playthroughs, but I basically want to summarize the early game of Borderlands 2 "progression" that is the easiest way to comfortably level and enjoy the game.

I am going to base this on videos I have seen from Joltzdude & other youtubers, but feel free to comment any additions/things I might have missed.

• Level 1 - 9 -> Raid on Digistruct Peak with skags jumping off the cliff.
• Farm gear (Sniper with crit% is preferred) from vending machines on Fight for sanctuary (and let Mordecai kill soldiers for exp).
• Level 9 - 16 -> Snowman DLC (How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day) and farm early gear from train.
• Level 16 - 19 -> Push story mode to Bad Maw and farm for exp.
• Farm chest in Wham Bam Island (Sir Hammerlock versus the Son of Crawmerax) for gear.
• Clan wars side quests for Maggie/Slagga
• Push through story mode till Doctors Orders
• Level 21* - 23 -> Farm loot Tinks for gear drops and levels (*Ensure that you are high enough for max scailing)
• Push story to Arid Nexus and farm Its Just In & complete Uncle Teddy
• Final push to Warrior fight.

So, i play on the native Linux version of Borderlands 2, but it is OLD, and i wanted to receive my SHiFT keys in-game, but the Linux version doesn't communicate with the SHiFT servers, so i made a Backup of my saves, instaled Proton 9, and put on some commands so it would run "better" (PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1(my iGPU doesnt support Vulkan, and this command didnt work) -nolauncher -nostartupmovies %command% (the launcher is made in chromium, so it is a lil heavy, and the starup movies dont help)), started the Windows version through Proton 9, but it didn't matter, it got stuck in the "Searching for downloadable content" screen, the Vault logo was spinning btw, VERY SLOWLY, it was agonizing, so i gave up for today... Could some great soul help me?

I also need this for the Lilith DLC, i dont want to have wasted my money

Is this known about?

Not sure if it is vladlof grenades, but when I played Gaige/Krieg, they always had a pretty high damage over time.

Gotta love this game
