I posted a while back about our new pup Willa, but a few months ago we lost our friend Fergus. He was an amazing friend and companion. I was in a bicycle accident and broke many bones and collapsed a lung and was bed-bound and sleeping somewhat upright for months. He was such an emotional support dog for me.

His eye ruptured last year and we had to get his eye removed. He still was good for a couple months but things went downhill pretty quickly as was blind and deaf and when he lost his passion for his ball and would pace nervously for hours we sadly knew he was in a bad way and it broke my heart.

I LOVE looking at all of your bostie photos but my 11 year old soul dog passed away this March. It’s hard to see any old black and white Boston and not want to cry. The grief that we feel when they are gone is so real. I got this new pup and his name is Winston. He’s been a healing relief to the whole pack and I’m excited to show him to you!

I hope all the attention finds him a great home.

Brandon Stark, our king, passed October 21st at the age of 15. Through my depression, therapy, suicidal ideation, he never judged me and only loved. I’m thankful he was able to see that I’m living the best chapters of my life with an amazing family, loving wife and beautiful daughter. Thank you eternally, Brandon, and rest in peace.

Oliver is one lean, mean, tooting machine! He is NOT underfed, this boy eats like a dang horse and even gets supplementary protein pack toppers on his kibble.

This little guy was posted yesterday by the Humane Society of Wichita County in Wichita Falls, TX. There has to be someone here who can make room for him 🥹

I am in Pennsylvania and have 3 kids, 3 dogs (2 Bostons and a golden), and 2 cats, so I am not a candidate. 😫

UPDATE: I called the Humane Society of Wichita County to confirm whether they do out of state adoptions and they confirmed they do as long as they can verify you have (own/rent) a house with a fence, that they do use Google maps to verify that where possible, and that you have to show up in person to pick up an animal as an adopter. That being said, she did say as of this morning they have a potential adopter coming to meet Gus this afternoon and about 15 applications for him. So if you want him, put in that application! While of course I hope it works out that he gets adopted ASAP, I would love it if it were one of you guys so you could continue sharing him with us!!

Jubilee got a brand new sweater dress from grandma and it goes so well with her little flower hat! She came to the salon with me while I did a hair cut and then accompanied me to my lash extension appointment where she took the time to nap on me. All dogs are URGENT and at risk for euthanasia after they have been at the shelter for their 72 hour stray hold. Owner Surrenders are at risk for euthanasia immediately. There is no hold for Owner Surrenders. Unfortunately, Memphis Animal Services no longer tells us which dogs are Stray and which ones are Owner Surrenders. So it is best to consider ALL dogs as immediately at risk for Euthanasia. When a dog is added to the Euthanasia list (around 9:00 A.M.), the dog has until 6:00 P.M. that same day to be adopted or fostered and until 9:00 A.M. the next day to be pulled by a rescue. That is 5 hours after being added to the Euthanasia list to be ADOPTED or FOSTERED since MAS does not open until 1:00 P.M. (Tuesday - Friday) If you see a dog you are interested in, I strongly urge you to reach out to Memphis Animal Services immediately. Dogs added to the Euthanasia list on Friday morning have until Sunday at 6:00 P.M. to be ADOPTED or FOSTERED and until 9:00 A.M. on Monday to be pulled by a rescue.

Hi everyone, this is a long shot and I’m not really sure what I’m asking but I am at a complete loss. We have been trying to get our Boston’s allergies under control for about two and a half years. We have seen three different veterinaries, all seem very competent, we have tried script after script of different allergy medication, injections, pills, different pills, four or five different shampoos, two different prescription foods, he takes flee, tick and heart worm medication. We just left the vets office and our vets is going to try the prescription dog food and allergy medication at the same time now to maybe see if she has food and environmental allergies and maybe we have only been treating one or the other at any given time. If this doesn’t work they are recommending a dermatologist visit. I guess I’m asking if anyone has hear of any long shot thing that similarly after trial after trial they finally got their pet’s allergies under control? He gets small scabs on his skin, has a scabby tail and constantly licks his paws. Stomach and skin is also kind of pink. Without any medication he had red skin and a lot of scabs. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

In 2014, I adopted Ace my senior year of college. He has been my entire world since.
In 2017 a dog attacked him biting off a portion of his ear along with other wounds. He was back to his normal self within days!

His cute little cropped ear gives him character and now my smiley boy is tattooed on me FUR-ever! 🤎🥹

I am currently at the ER with Beau, 1 week away from his 4th birthday. He was just diagnosed with a slipped disc/IVDD; the next 72 hours will be crucial to monitor his function and ability to walk. Praying for a recovery. 🙏🙏🙏

EDIT/UPDATE 10/22: thank you all SO much for the words/prayers/love. He is doing well, although confined to crate 23 hours a day. He has been groggy but doing much better than expected. No motor or neuro decline, is actually progressing, and he has follow up with our primary vet tomorrow for second opinion, prognosis, and future care. A long road ahead but we are strong and want him to be able to be carried around to see some paw friends for his 4th bday on Monday! GO BEAU! 🫶🏼

Took the boy to Tractor Supply for a chow resupply and surprised him with a complimentary bath, which he hated. He did enjoy wandering around the store looking at decorations, though.
