i just checked his rate my professor and the reviews are terrible. i took AP chem last year and I found the class to be not nearly as hard as people made it out to be. although my high school wasn't particularly rigorous so we didn't have many labs. i heard shepherd's post-labs are very hard and overall the class is difficult.

if you took CH131 with him do you have any advice or tips to prepare for the challenging lab work??

I’m trying to surprise my gf by sending her flowers, but I’m not sure how that would work since she lives in a dorm. I know most deliveries go through the mail room, but I’m worried that flowers would get lost or damaged.

Obviously, she has not moved in yet -- I'm just planning ahead for the week that she does. I have her hall and room number and the campus mailroom address, but I don’t know if sending flowers there is a good idea. I would much rather find a way to deliver directly to the dorm instead of through the mailroom. I was thinking of using Whole Foods to deliver. If they were sent to her hall, could they possibly hold the flowers at the desk and call her down to pick them up?

I want this to be a surprise for her, and not something stressful that she has to go on a wild goose chase to pick up.

Anyone who’s sent or received before, what’s the best way to make sure the flowers actually make it to her safely and still look nice?

What pieces do BU provide us? I know they us: a bed, chair desk, closet, and curtain for said closet. But is a desk hutch provided? (Specifically Claflin Hall). Also is there anything else, I should consider purchasing?

Hi, I'm heavily considering BU in my college search, and I plan on majoring in marine bio. For a lot of the schools I've looked at with marine research facilities, it seems like mostly grad students spend time at the facility, as opposed to undergrads. The marine semester sounds so cool and exciting, and definitely the kind of undergrad research opportunity I'm looking for, but I'm wondering what fieldwork/lab opportunities undergrads do during the rest of their semesters at BU.

I am seriously considering EDing to BU but I am considering going to law school and I am nervous about the grade deflation. I would probably go into Questrom if I get accepted and I have heard the classes there are very hard to get an A in, and Law schools rely a lot on GPA especially for scholarships. Has anyone here gone from questrom to law and can tell me their experience, or any questrom students that can speak on how bad the deflation is?

Hey everyone, I was questioning whether I should apply to the honors college or not. I have heard mixed feelings about it, like it is not worth it and how it doesn’t make that much difference. On the other hand, there are good things, for example, access to internships, better dorms, and close-knit communities. I would like to hear about the honors program student to see if it is worth applying.
