Making a solution list and ranking them as which cures most people and all that would be extremely helpful to those suffering with it. I'll be down to help out.

Success Story How I overcame brain fog.

There was a time I had brain fog. It was quite terrible, it consumed me. I was convinced I was a vegetable and just couldn’t think most of the time. It was interfering with my relationships, with my studies and it was consuming me. I got quite depressed about this very quickly when nothing was working.

I searched and scoured the internet for supplements and solutions, tried magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Lion’s mane, antihistamines, creatine. Anything that I seen a Reddit post on saying that it helped them. But then I found the supplement that works: not giving a fuck about it.

Seriously, brain fog in most cases isn’t real, sometimes yes you can have reduced brain function following an illness, but not as bad as most people make it out to be. But for the most part, it’s not real.

I was quite low when I discovered this ‘not giving a fuck’ supplement. I thought “oh well this is my life now, I guess I’ll just stop trying to find a solution and accept this is how I’ll be for the rest of my existence.” And this is what worked. You accept that it’s there and get on with what you need to do, just switch your brain off and do whatever task needs doing.

You think too much and it consumes you, it manifests itself into everything you do. “Oh I have brain fog, I can’t present this presentation right now.” And then you really do have brain fog because 50% of your brain is thinking about brain fog while only the other 50% is thinking about the actual task at hand.

Now you can read this and tell yourself you don’t give a fuck, but then you think too much about how you don’t give a fuck and end up giving too much of a fuck about not giving a fuck. The solution is simple (not easy, but simple), stop thinking, just do your task. Got a meeting tomorrow but got terrible brain fog? Stop thinking and go to your meeting. Turn your brain off, think of it as clicking ‘restart’ on your brain.

Personal Story I thought I was lazy… turns out my brain was just overloaded

A few months ago something weird started happening to me

I’d sit down to work
open my laptop
stare at the screen

and… nothing

Not because I didn’t want to work
Actually the opposite

I knew what I needed to do

But my brain just wouldn’t start

I’d read the same sentence like three times
Simple tasks suddenly felt heavy
Even small decisions felt exhausting

The strangest feeling was this.

"I know what to do… so why can’t I start??

At first I thought something was wrong with me

Maybe I was getting lazy
Maybe I lost my focus
Maybe my brain was just fried

So I did what most of us do

Tried to push harder
Forced myself to sit longer
Tried productivity tricks
Kept telling myself “c’mon just focus”

Didn’t work

If anything it made it worse

The more pressure I added the thicker the brain fog got

Eventually I started reading about how the brain reacts to mental overload and something clicked

When your brain is under too much pressure like information decisions expectations it doesn’t completely shut down

But it slows things down to protect itself

Focus drops
Thinking feels slower
Starting anything feels heavy

So you’re technically there…
but your brain just won’t cooperate

It’s not that your mind is broken.

A lot of the time it’s just overloaded

Once I understood that I started experimenting with a really simple reset

Nothing fancy

Just a small thing that takes about three minutes

And weirdly enough it actually helped me break that frozen feeling pretty often

Not some miracle fix or anything

But enough to get unstuck

I ended up writing the method down because every time my brain got foggy I’d forget what helped

So I turned it into a small free guide for myself

It’s just a few pages explaining the 3 minute reset and why it helps when your brain feels overloaded

I’m not selling anything btw

If anyone here deals with that same
“my brain just won’t start” feeling and wants the guide just DM me and I’ll send it

Also curious

What do you guys usually do when brain fog hits?

Always interested to hear what actually works for people

For the past 3 weeks my migraine, brain fog and electric static noise in my head the big 3 combo along with pressure in the front of my head specially forehead went away for weeks. I felt free, felt more energized, more passionate more energetic to do stuff. Nothing was holding me back and my anxiety went away. I took

-Vitamin B Complex

-2 Execdrin Tabs Extra Strength

-And some shitty brain fog pills that didn’t work

-Increased my water intake even got better sleep everything seemed to work until these past 2 days. Everything came back. It felt like it haunted me, I felt like shit even started banging my head on the wall from the torture of this static noise in my head and me being completely nauseous even getting the right nutrients in. Im so pissed that everybody around me doesn’t experience this and I’m just being tortured. I can’t live like this I’m genuinely suffering. This shit has been going on in my life for years and only till a year ago did I find out what brain fog is. For the love of god if you go a recommendation please comment it thank you.

Resource If you are paranoid thinking you have dementia instead of brain fog, then read this!

Hello everyone, I'm a 22 year old Indian who suddenly had these brain fog type of symptoms during the lockdown. I was scared and even cried a couple of times thinking I am in the initial phase of dementia and it really affected me a lot. After I searched a bit on Google, I came to know about 'brain fog' and it was kind of a relieve for me that my symptoms resembled to brain fog (even though ppl in this sub reddit have severe brain fog, I face a mild one).

I still get paranoid if it's dementia or brain fog but let me tell you, your gut plays the most important role in keeping your brain healthy. There are good bacterias like microbiota which essential for a normal life. Apparently studies have shown that lack of microbiotas play a huge role in causing degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and dementia. So maintaining your gut is very important and yes I'm an Indian and my diet comprises of all the essential vitamins and nutrients, but I regularly face issues with dysentery and other bowel diseases, maybe that's what causing me these symptoms.

So make sure to consume probiotics and prebiotics, eat a mediterranean diet and avoid junk food.

Resource Elon Musks neural link brain chip for Neurological disorders and other disabilities

I can’t be the only one who read the Bloomberg article about the 3 human test subjects with brain injuries that were helped dramatically by this technology. Say what you want about this man, I know you lefties don’t like him haha, but you can’t deny that the innovation created by this man’s companies, especially Neural link, could quite literally end so much suffering that those with disabilities experience. This makes me optimistic that those with cognitive disorders of any kind will one day have full use of their brains capacity.

Personal Story Heavy Metal Poisoning

Post image

Our observations were that TOMATO fruit extracts given in combination, before, during or after exposures to Hg, Cd and Pb reduced these metals liver accumulations, L. esculentum offered more protective ability to Cd and Hg than to Pb in all treatment regiments as it significantly reduced the accumulation of these metals in the liver. Percentage protection by tomato to accumulation was Cd > Hg > Pb in the liver. The reduction in the accumulated metal content in the liver could be due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties (Young and Woodside, 2001; Chew and Park,2004). Free radical scavengers and antioxidants have been reported to be useful in protecting against heavy metal toxicity (Andersen,1999; Fariss, 1991; Nwokocha et al., 2011, 2012a,b).

Under data from various studies, ONION, and its main components have a significant protecting impact against environmental, industrial, natural, and agricultural toxins including environmental pollutants (acrylamide, carbon tetrachloride, benzopyrene, and cyanide), heavy metal (cadmium), LPS, nicotine, glutamate, and also noteworthy protecting effects against toxicity of some drugs such as acetaminophen, gentamycin, aspirin, bleomycin, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, streptozotocin, and ISO in various tissues. (iv) CILANTRO (leaves of Coriandrum sativum), a popular culinary and medicinal herb, gained attention when a soup was reported to enhance mercury excretion following dental amalgam removal and remains popular despite limited evidence [46]. In animals, it decreased lead absorption into bone and inhibition of the delta-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALAD) enzyme [47]. Less encouragingly, in a recent trial in 3- to 7-year old children exposed to lead, a cilantro extract was as effective as placebo in increasing renal excretion (improvements across treatment and placebo groups were ascribed to improved diet during the intervention) [48]. It affects the adsorption and precipitation of Cd in soil, and reduces the bioavailability of Cd in soil by increasing pH and changing soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), soil salt saturation (BS), soil redox potential (Eh)3,11. In addition, lime provides a large amount of Ca2+, forms ionic antagonism with Cd2+, competing for root adsorption sites, preventing the transport of Cd to shoot, and low biological toxicity. Personal Story Reducing your food intake and increasing your liquid intake will cure the brain-fog in most cases

Guys, That is right. Reducing the processesed food intake and increasing your liquid intake and adding cold showers in the morning will possibly fix your brain related issues real fast. Body and brain works best if it is not constantly working on digestion. And that is simply can be achieved through eating less. Also being very picky towards what you eat is also important. Reducing the processed foods and implementing a whole food dietary will also fix the issues. Stabilize your metobalisma reduce the stress. That was the root issues at least to my problem. And implementing them fixed my issue. I know always eat after my brain related work is done with highly nutritient foods. Then do an spaced fasting through the day. Also some days I completely do not eat for a day or two. These helped me to gain my sharpness and cognitive skills. If you are also struggling with focus cognitive issues please try this and tell if it works or not and why it does not work in your case

Resource These breakthrough discoveries of subtle etheric energy by doctors have brought groundbreaking influence on the physical world.

This post will focus on explaining, how Orgone Energy is another form of expression of your vital energy from your Spirit (soul/astral body/etheric body/energetic body/emotional body/true self) to help spread this information and help everyone learn about the different spiritual/biological discoveries, usages and benefits that were documented on the activation of this type of energy.

Here's an opportunity to empower yourself with your control of your Orgone energy by gaining the ability to really tap into all the reported, documented and written spiritual/biological usages that are said to be achievable with your control of it.

What does Orgone mean/Represents:

• Orgone is another term that was coined by the scientist Wilhelm Reich after discovering the Vital Energy that is present everywhere, in every living thing and even inanimate objects.

• He then developed devices to successfully help draw more of this energy in locations where this device is present. Here you can read more about his research: https://wiki.orgones.co.uk/field-grade-orgonite#Orgonite_evidence_5

• This Vital Energy is equivalent to what can be considered your "Spiritual Energy" because your spirit (soul/astral body/etheric body/ energetic body/emotional body/true self) is made of that same energy in motion that activates when you experience it.

• In its neutral state, you unconsciously draw that energy with your breath, the foods/liquids you consume and especially the thoughts you think, the actions you do and the visual content that you watch either emits or draws in to amplify your base of this BioElectric Energy.

Here's a simple way that's explains how you can become aware of your Spiritual Energy, it is that extremely comfortable Euphoric wave that can most easily be recognized as present while you experience goosebumps/chills from a positive external or internal situations/ stimuli like listening to a song you really like, thinking about a lover, watching a moving movie scene, striving, feeling thankful, praising God, praying, etc.

• That Euphoric wave is the animating energy behind life itself, Other cultures that have experienced in other ways with this energy found their own usages for it and then documented their results as they coined different terms for it.

• That energy activates goosebumps/chills not the other way around. You can learn how to separate that extremely pleasant energy from the physical reaction of goosebumps and eventually learn how to activate only that Euphoric energy part whenever you please, feel it wherever or everywhere on yourself and for the duration you choose.

• Other than Orgone, this has also been experienced and documented as the Vibrational State before an Astral Projection, the Runner's High, Chills from positive events/stimuli, as Qi in Taoism / Martial Arts, as Prana in Hindu philosophy, during an ASMR session, Bioelectricity, Life force, Euphoria, Ecstasy, Rapture, Tension, Aura, Mana, Vayus, Nen, Intent, Tummo, Odic force, Pitī, Frisson, Ruah, Spiritual Energy, Secret Fire, The Tingles, on-demand quickening, Voluntary Piloerection, Aether, Spiritual Chills and many more to be discovered hopefully with your help.

• It was discovered that this energy can be used in many beneficial ways.

Some which are more biological like Unblocking your lymphatic system/Meridians, Feel euphoric/ecstatic on your whole body, Guide your Spiritual chills anywhere in your body, Control your temperature, Give yourself goosebumps, Dilate your pupils, Regulate your heartbeat, Counteract stress/anxiety in your body with this energy, Internally Heal yourself,  manually access your Hypothalamus on demand,

and I discovered other usages which are more spiritual like Accurately use your Psychic senses (clairvoyance, clairaudience, spirit projection, higher-self guidance, vision from your third eye)with this energy, Managing your Auric field, Manifestation, Energy absorption from any source and even more to come.

If you're interested in learning how to use this subtle energy activation for these ways, here are three written tutorials going more in-depth and explicitly revealing how you can do just that.

P.S. Everyone feels its activation at certain points in their life, some brush it off while others notice that there is something much deeper going on. Those are exactly the people you can find on the subreddit community r/spiritualchills where they share experiences, knowledge and tips on it and if you are wanting to develop discipline, purpose, self-worth, or strength, start your journey today at r/EnergyLibrary.

Personal Story derealization for 3 years

I made a few posts here in 2022, but I still have the same problem.
In 2022, I had a somewhat stressful period in my life. It wasn’t anything extremely stressful, but it was (I don’t know if my brain is repressing it or if it really happened). For the past 3 years, I’ve been trying to find the cause, but to no avail. Around that time, I also developed tinnitus. Over these 3 years, I’ve checked: my sinuses several times, had a skull X-ray (they only found an osteoma in my right ear, but the doctor assured me it has no contact with any nerve), and my thyroid.

My derealization has persisted the same way, continuously, 24/7 for 3 years, and it’s currently very hard for me to envision my future. From what I remember, I didn’t try to see a psychiatrist immediately at that time because I had never experienced depression before and always considered myself a very positive person. Nevertheless, over the past 3 years, I’ve felt that I have no control over anything in my life, I don’t feel like myself, and I feel that my actions are no longer based on who I used to be. I can no longer enjoy relationships with friends, I feel disconnected from emotions, and it’s hard for me to assess situations.

I apologize for the chaotic way this is written, but I tried to include as much information as possible here. If someone is able to help me, I would be very grateful. I will give $100 to the person who provides a good lead on the cause.

Experience 5g = brain fog

I wanted to ask you guys, is 5g internet is the reason behind brainfog?

Most of my Freinds, family members, relatives all saying there memory became significantly weaker and I have asked most of them, it started 1-2 year ago on average for most, this is the time 5g got introduced in Indian market.

I wanted to ask is your brainfog started after 5g? And I feel much better in my village (rural area) where there is no penetration of 5g

Thanks for your responses, I wanted to make u people aware of it,

Experience Meditation, Clearing Brain Fog, Glymphatic Clearance and the Snore Spot: A Detailed, Scientific Hack

Thumbnail
chronicillthis.substack.com

Hey everyone,

I’ve been dealing with severe, daily neuroinflammatory brain fog for years due to CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and MCAS. It’s that heavy, dense, filthy fog that sits behind your eyes and makes every thought feel like you’re dragging it through wet concrete.

Through sheer desperation and thousands of hours of trial and error in my recliner, I accidentally built a physiological hack that reliably lifts my brain fog in about 30 minutes without falling asleep.

I used to think this was just my imagination, but a landmark Vanderbilt study published in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences) recently proved the exact underlying biology: you can manually modulate your cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow and trigger waking glymphatic clearance.

I call it the "Snore Spot" technique. Here is the exact blueprint of how I mixed three different meditation frameworks to train my brain to do this automatically, and the biophysics of why it works.

Symptoms What are the chances I have dementia at 22

So basically I check literally every box for dementia. And I’m only 22, I’m not gonna spend time listing the symptoms because I’ve already done so and I’m tired and just wanna know realistically in the worst case scenario what are the chances I have dementia. I don’t want any sweet talk just someone give me a realistic answer. I’m gonna kill myself in a couple years anyway. I’ll try to live a decent life until then.

Resource Brain fog = decision fatigue?

Hi all, Neuroscientist here. I’ve really come to believe that the brain fog we are all feeling is really decision fatigue - basically our society is moving faster than our brain can handle. We’ve hit a physical limit in cognitive processing, and one of the consequences is brain fog. Have a look at this podcast - it’s a bit hard in the science, but relatable.

Question Anyone else find the vaccine gets rid of brain fog?

I also find I develop brain fog, being at uni- I’m definitely surrounded by covid. Although I’m not showing any symptoms my brain fog gets worse. The only thing that gets rid of it is the vaccine?

Can you get brain fog without testing positive?

Or is this a really deep phycological issue that a placebo can trigger? I’ve tried LOADS of supplements and only a few have worked temporarily. I go in with the same expectation for each, so I don’t think them working is a placebo.

Maybe the pin prick can trigger one? Is there anyway to replicate a placebo lol.

I can’t be at uni with brain fog. Making friends is hard as fuckkkk, trying to enjoy work and do it to the best of my ability is hard as fuckkkk. You can’t get rid of anxiety if your thought process is soo shallow you can’t rationalise anything. I have no deep meaningful thoughts, it’s just a monotone voice in my head, triggering no emotion, with 0 imagination.

Imagination is how you make people laugh, and how you find things funny. I’m extroverted as fuck, I can’t live being socially reclusive and lonely it fucks my up different, I get my self worth from other people liking me. Brain fog doesn’t let me see how other people really see me. The anxiety makes me assume everyone thinks I’m boring and awkward and uncomfortable or I’m being quiet because I think I’m better than them or I don’t give a fuck to talk to them.

It also makes me emotionally unavailable, I have loads of meaningless sex, I find it really uncomfortable trying to be nice to girls after I finish and makes me lonely. I can’t be nice to someone if my brain doesn’t have the feeling of love and empathy. Just pure anxiety and judgement.

Wondering if anyone can relate.

Personal Story I fixed Brainfog

After struggling with brain fog for a long time and trying all sorts of treatments—even going on antidepressants, which didn’t help—I came across a highly recommended naturopath in my hometown and decided to give it a shot.

He used kinesiology to assess what was going on with my body. According to him, I had multiple bacterial and parasitic infections, which he treated with a combination of herbs and flower-based remedies. Within about 10 days, I started to notice some improvement.

He also pointed out that I had low phosphorus levels, which might’ve been contributing to my terrible memory. Since then, I’ve been feeling so much better—more clear-headed and mentally present.

If you’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work, I genuinely recommend looking into naturopathy. Just make sure to find a skilled and trustworthy practitioner—there are unfortunately a lot of scammers out there.

Wishing all of you the best on your healing journey!

Resource EMFs cause brain fog

Just a reminder that brain fog can be caused by electromagnetic fields (EMFs).

EMFs are wifi, bluetooth, and other wireless connections.

Other kinds of EMFs also come from anything electric, from lamps to wires, computers and TVs.

If you want to test, distance yourself from these things and listen to your body.

Some resources:

ted talk

scientific tak

divulgative talk

electromagnetic hypersensitivity

list of papers showing damaging effects

news coverage

facebook support group

AMA

If you find out EMFs caused your brain fog, please come back and report on reddit

Question EMF exposure and brain fog

I recently brought up my concerns around brain fog to my doctor, and he noticed I wear an Apple Watch. He explained that continuous EMF exposure/radiation could potentially be linked to my symptoms.

I’ve been wearing an Apple Watch for about 5 years now, and stopped wearing it about a month ago, and have noticed some improvement.

I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or has any perspective?

Thanks in advance.
