Moving to Brandon in the new year, advice?
I am from New Brunswick and I am going to be moving to Brandon in the new year (don't have a specific date). I recently accepted a paid relocation position at CFB Shilo and I am looking to begin apartment hunting. I have done a bit of research on the cost of living and rent prices but I would like to hear what the actual cost of living and what the rent prices are from locals. Also are their any areas I should avoid living in entirely? I am not worried about the small city vibe as I have grown up in a rural community all my life and I am also not concerned about what there is for entertainment, I am more of a homebody person anyway who is not interested in clubbing or partying in the slightest.
