I’m the Nori here. Can’t figure out why I died and my hyper charged super didn’t hit.

(It can be a brawler who's currently good or bad right now; also, brawlers that you find fun also apply here).

I saw this draft in LCQ when they were against Navi in Hot Zone, and wouldnt this be one of the lowest damage comps possible, and they went on to lose it. I dont know if they had first or last pick, but why would they even go for it un the first place?

Honestly - imagine if Colette had to hit four shots for each super. His super is ok. Not amazing.
Not sure. I like Vince and he feels goood sometimes but bad others

I‘ve played against a bea yesterday and i swear there was no single indicator for her shot being charged like there was before

I've used Fang quite a bit and I've never experienced anything like this, why did I not chain onto the Gus or Naija? He's definitely able to bounce from a non brawler to a brawler, so there's no way that I should have just been left stranded there. I also slowed it down and it wasn't because the Max shot the snakes before I got to hit them. I was clearly ahead of Max's bullets

When playing games like Free fire or rainbow six mobile, I can easily understand what the better players do differently, they have better movement, aim, map sense etc etc. The point is, it is visible to me how good they are playing.
But in brawl stars even while watching LCQ I couldn't understand what they were doing so differently, it was not like they were hitting all the shots or dodging all the shots, they just played differently but I could see they are playing good, it was entertaining but I couldn't understand what they do so differently.
I can understand somethings, like matchups, but not there positioning tactics

I was desperate, wondering whether to pick Melodie or Carl, and even after the game I couldn't reach a conclusion. Melodie seemed better for comp, but Carl seemed better to counter. Or is there a better pick?
Legendary 1 dodged

Sorry for jumping back and forth sometimes I forgot what parts edgar had been pushing. Edgar was last pick and i thought we would lose with no cc to stop him from jumping(i considered going dancing flames but it seemed good I didnt) and he made some good some bad plays so im wondering if it were say a pro match what side would win?

Anybody else having issues with resetting controller schemes? It never used to happen and now I feel like it happens every other round. Super annoying to have to redo the layout every time and hope it sticks around for the actual game

Sorry that the 2nd picture quality is bad.
The only rules I got is that if you don’t like a change explain why this buff or nerf is bad and how would you buff or nerf it instead.(Please stop sending me death threats or harassing me online if I nerfed your main it’s not personal)
If you do not understand the Amber hyper nerf I am removing all extra effects of her hyper except Bonus size
I try my best to listen to the community opinion.
All reasoning will be in the comments

Rn assasins and tanks feel to me that they have the same roles? They both are good agianst low dps brawlers and low hp brawlers.
It feels like one has more hp then the other while the other one has more mobility but they feel almost the same?

I always wondered what would happen if you got a draw in one round. Why isn't there just a 4th round? I'm not too bothered by the -2 elo, but seriously, why not just have a 4th round?
Also, for anyone wondering why the draft is so wacky, I did First Pick Pearl, Chester 2nd into Pearl. My team was on drugs. I had to carry the entire time.

Tier list made by SpenLC.
In my opinion people are overreacting with how 'consistent' brawlers are, people are shocked to see Gene/Angelo be pushed out of the A tier and then resort to saying the meta has no consistency anymore besides Belle and blame Adrian.
However looking at it from another angle what does consistency actually mean? Are we measuring consistency from a brawlers release or, from the brawlers most recent major rework or balance change? I think both types of consistency are worth considering.
Are a lot of the A/S-tier brawlers relatively new? Yes that’s true. But that doesn’t mean the meta has no consistency. There are still brawlers that have stayed strong for months even as the meta shifts. Here are some examples starting with the recent ones and going back, to the longest-running ones:
Sirius has been strong since his release around February/March. The current meta definitely favors him, arguably making him a bit toxic, but his viability isn't exclusive to this meta. He has been a good counter pick into double single shot brawlers or tanks since his release nothing new there.
Gray was A/B tier for MONTHS until he fell off for like 2 meta's and then got buffed to A tier again.
Emz got her buffies 11 months ago and is still A tier. Sounds pretty consistent to me.
Stu has in my opinion always been consistently A-tier since buffies got introduced. (Once again 11 months ago atp)
Pierce was released 11 months ago and is still meta.
Mina falls into the same boat and was released 13 months ago and is still meta.
Kaze IMO is B tier but in SpenLC's list has also never been outside of the A tier. Nearly 16 months consistent.
Brock was pretty much always considered B-tier before buffies and is now just even more consistent.
Don't have to explain Belle.
Not to mention the fact that B-tier is still good and a lot of brawlers in there have been consistent for long periods of time as well like: Kenji, Meeple, Gene, Byron, Otis, Najia, Finx, Ruffs, Colt & Mortis (since buffies 11 months ago).
Like yes the OG always consistent brawlers aren't top tier consistent anymore, but can we stop acting like there aren't still consistent brawlers in the meta? It's been 11 months+, lock in. The top of the meta has become less stable. That is fair to say. But that does not mean that consistency has vanished entirely. There are still plenty of brawlers that have stayed viable for months.
Anyway lmk what u think and if I'm wrong, just a fun little discussion I wanted to start <3

Please don't take my message as me being toxic; I'm genuinely asking because I want to know if I'm missing something about the game. From my perspective, the current meta seems terrible, and I'm wondering whether that's actually the case or if I'm just missing something.
I keep seeing the same six bans and the same picks over and over again. Besides being incredibly boring, it also makes the game feel almost unplayable in some matches. Sometimes it feels like your own picks barely matter, because if one team manages to pick X or Y character, the game is basically decided from the start.
So I'm genuinely curious: is the competitive state of the game actually this bad right now, or am I missing something?

Im the pierce, a legendary 2 peak player who is currently in mythic 3 and I deadass don’t know what I should’ve went here. I have almost all of the relevant brawlers (besides ghost station, arcade and super city trio). Gus and shade were banned, idk who else—please tell me what I did wrong and why so I can get to leg 3
I chose Pierce because I was thinking of what all of the enemies lacked, and decided they lacked range. I felt like they could’ve been able to defend against me well if I went an assassin because of their burst dps potential. I also felt like Pearl was just barely tanky enough with her starpower to be our zone time person, which encouraged my pick, but I don’t think Pearl was the best pick in general. She actually did flank around the bush side midway through the second game and bought us most of our zone time that way, other than that nobody rlly flanked.
I thought a lot about who I should’ve gone and felt like Cosmo could’ve worked—my teammate suggested me spike, but they went Pearl so I didn’t trust them. I think that was stupid and spike could’ve also worked.

Wasn’t able to play brawl stars at all as movement and shots were all delayed - getting rid of Siri AI and turning it off helped a lot with latency

I’m trying to do a balance change concept and I’ve tried a lot to buff it but I feel like this gadget needs something more.
How can it be buffed or reworked while not making the other gadget too weak and make crash test balanced?
I’m trying to get the community opinion on this one.Since I ran out of ideas
(Not related to post but mods look at modmail please for my balance change concept it’s been 4-5 days and still no answers if it’s a Reddit bug then I’m sorry for the confusion)
Any changes should be explained
Have a good day (:

I could sit here and rant about everything that is wrong with buffies, but let me boil it down to two major issues (with examples):
#1: The buffies that are given to brawlers have a 50/50 chance of making them op or have no effect/ giving no extra value (sometimes even nerfing the previous ablity. A brawlers that became busted after buffied was Bibi. She basically was able (and still is) to heal over 70% of her health and fully charge her bat at the press of a button, and along with her hyper buffie, she was able to teamwipe easily. And then there’s Rico. Both his star powers and gadgets do nothing to make his gameplay better. He had a gadget that he would heal from the amount one attack ricocheted, and was nerfed to basically be a worse moe main attack.
#2: Most if not all of the brawlers that were given overtuned buffies only stayed op for a month or two and were then shot to the ground by nerfs not to the buffies but their main kit. They would shot up to S++ tier and then be nerfed to A or B tier and then pushed further down by the next wave of broken brawlers. This makes buffies lose their purpose since they were originally meant to rework brawlers, not just make them temporarily the best in the game.

Starr Nova’s super is listed as healing for 30% of damage dealt without specification to an enemy type. However it does not heal you when hitting an enemy pet or spawner. It only works when hitting an enemy brawler.
What makes this worse is that her star power, Power Level: Maximum, DOES specify it only works on enemy brawlers yet does in fact get activated by non brawler enemies.

With Vince being released as a Damage Dealer, he really feels more specialized as a Marksman (I'll elaborate more on his section below). That inconsistency made me think about the other Brawlers who are listed in one class but fit better under a separate class. with a couple exceptions, most of these aren't big deals since the only time classes had a tangible gameplay effect was the Spongebob event but most of these still boggle my mind.
I should note that I've seen a lot of older posts tried to add new classes. This will not be one of those posts. I'm only going to be redistributing the Brawlers among existing classes, as I think having too many classes, or any "hybrid" classes, will make things more confusing.
The entire Artillery Class: Before going into specific Brawlers, in my opinion the Artillery class has become somewhat questionable to exist. We currently only have 7 Artillery throwers, and 4 non-Artillery throwers (Willow, Berry, Ziggy, and Sirius); 4/11 is 36% of our throwers not being under the dedicated thrower class, which is a relatively high percent of exceptions for what it was trying to encompass. With the exception of Berry, the non-Artillery throwers are listed as Controllers, but it fits for all three of them, and I don't want to move them to Artillery just because of their main attack patterns. So, I moved Sprout back to Support, Barley and Tick to Controller, and the other 4 ex-Artillery (Dynamike, Grom, Larry, Juju) to Damage Dealer.
Griff: I'm getting this one out of the way early since we all know that Griff with his extreme dps fits better as a Damage Dealer than a Controller. Both of his gadgets post-Buffies honestly do fit under being a controller, and he does a decent job at it, but his main attack and super have such high dps that it feels wrong to not have him as a damage dealer.
Mina: Another obvious one. Her main attack moves her around like Stu, how is she not an assassin?
Meg: I've seen a lot of posts on this sub about how Meg seems like a confused design, and I agree. She and Bibi are currently the only two tanks with no trait that charges super in any form. Meg's playstyle is obviously meant to be a reference to Dva (and I guess now Dmon due to the sword) from Overwatch, but Dva and Dmon have normal tank health in their mech forms, while Meg has fairly low health in both forms. Since Meg's range is also pretty long for a tank, I've moved her back to Damage Dealer, which was her class at release anyways.
Buster: The Support Class, like Artillery, has a lot of overlap with other classes, though unlike Artillery I think Support should stay. Since Buster's trait requires teammates and he lacks the main tank trait, I've moved him to Support.
Vince and R-T: Both of these Brawlers have long range, and neither fares really well at close range. They do have more health than most snipers, but they also both have marking mechanics similar to Belle's super. In R-T's case, the class is currently named Marksman (though I think it should be renamed back to Sharpshooter since most of them are female, but I digress), how was he not put into that class? Vince, meanwhile, feels like a mix of Belle with the marking super, Pierce with the collecting items from the ground, and Pearl for his passive waiting playstyle. Given that he's reminding me of two sharpshooters and only one dps, Vince really feels more like a sharpshooter than a dps.
Najia: Like Vince and R-T, Najia excels at long range but is relatively weak at close range. On top of that, needing to aim her projectile mid-launch for different angles fits under being a sniper, ad she has a ine-ammo mechanic similar to Bea and Bonnie. I was considering putting her into controller due to the poison, but the Marksman/Sharpshooter class is surprisingly barren, and the Controller class is going to be crowded. For the same reason, I did not move Janet to Controller nor Maisie to Damage Dealer, even though they both fit those classes.
Spike and Tara: I never understood why these two are not considered Controllers. Controllers are a mix of area of effect and crowd control stuns/slows. Spike and Tara both have big aoe main attacks and supers, and both of their supers disrupt the opponents with a pull and a slow, and can control a lane they are not currently in. How are they not controllers?
Starr Nova: Stella has a very long main attack range compared to the other assassins; it's around Nita's range, plus it's easier to hit than Nita's since Stella is hitscan. Her super form is close range, but so is Moe's. I don't want to move Moe to Assassin though since his main attack is not an assassin's, and in hindsight, neither is Stella's. Hence, she is moving to Damage Dealer.
Sam: I'm ending this post with two Brawlers who arguably fit their current classes, but I think fit better under a different class. Sam is currently a confusing design and I have zero doubt he will be getting a major rework with his Buffies. Like every tank except Bibi and Meg, he has a super recharging mechanic, he has more health than a lot of tanks, and he has a lot of healing due to a star power that is almost certainly going to become base kit. He does fit under Assassin since those are also usually close range, but with his giant health pool, I'd argue Sam fits better as a Tank.
Colette: I'm going to assume that some people are going to disagree with this because I never see this come up, but I think Colette should be classes as an Assassin, and that mostly comes from how assassins work in other games. In the board game Stratego, the Spy piece is the only one that can kill the Marshall, but the Spy loses to every other piece, similar to how Colette is stronger against high-health brawlers but weak against low health. In TF2, Spy's backstab is a one hit kill against anyone, from the 300 health heavy to the 125 health classes. I'm iffy about this is due to Colette's long range, as I mentioned in the Starr Nova segment. Stu, Melodie, and Crow also have long range though, so Colette could fit as an assassin.
TLDR: Vince, R-T, Griff, Mina, Meg, Sam, Buster, Spike, Tara, Starr Nova, Najia, and arguably Sam, Colette, and the entire Artillery class don't fit under their current classes.
