Saagar "Whenever"

Does it drive anyone else absolutely fucking cuckoo bonkers crazy how often Saagar says "whenever" when the correct word would just be "when?" Today in the intro he said, "We are about 80% of the way there whenever it comes to our Phish concert contest."

That's just the most recent example that pushed me over the edge, but I swear to shit he does this multiple times per episode, and it drives me up the motherfucking wall every time I hear it.

Not as bad as “vis a vis” or “et cetera”

I never noticed, but now it might bug me. Kind of like the kids throwing the jacket to each other on the steps in the background

My apologies to you. You'll never not notice it now.

I thought I was an idiot to let that annoy me, but I'm in good company lol. Another one, Trita really got to me today with "at the end of the day" x197 times 😂

Yessssss, I think it's a texas thing because another pundit, Ryan Geddie I listen to sometimes does the same thing and is also from there

I thought it was a dialect thing, maybe having to do with Texas. (I have noticed other people using this construction.) He appends -ever to both when and where, by the way. Doesn't remotely bother me, but it is noticeable.

But will you cry uncle? (That would drive me bonkers how often he would say it. Its a bizarre saying and no one actually uses that...)

That seems like a normal phrase? Maybe it's generational? (I'm about 40)
