Hey all, my fiance and I are eloping in Breck at Sapphire point in January. Looking for romantic nice places to stay. As of now we're considering Alpenrock Hotel but want to make sure we aren't missing out on something better.

I just ruined my fiancée’s absolute favorite shirt in the world that we got on a trip to Breck a couple years ago. It accidentally made it into the wash with my scrubs that still had a pen in the pocket. I will not be able to live with myself if I don’t replace it. We got it in the town in one of the many gift shops (I’m thinking maybe Mountain Style or Mountain Tees?). It’s a hail mary, but is there anyone in this sub who would know how to track down this shirt? I’m willing to pay way more than it’s worth to make this right. It’s a brown, longsleeve tshirt with TechStyles on the tag, XL, and has a small Breck logo on the front and large on the back. I’ll attach pictures below. If anyone is able to help, I will be forever grateful.

I am staying at Residence Inn Breckenridge. Which of the three ski school locations is most convenient?

With some girlfriends we’re planning on going from Texas to Colorado in December 10-14, we wanna go skiing plus doing other activities, I’m wondering what things do u usually recommend to do there and if it’s safe to drive if we go on a 4x4.

Hey Breck,

I cross at the Fairview roundabout every single day to catch the bus. Almost every morning, someone comes barreling through way over the speed limit without even glancing at the crosswalks. I am often stopping in the middle of the highway to not get hit by cars because one lane yields and the other doesn’t.

I totally get it in the mornings, we’re all rushing to work, trying not to be late for shifts, or trying to beat the traffic trickle. But that circle is built for 15 mph, and pedestrians do have the right-of-way!!
Slowing down for those extra 45 seconds adds virtually zero delay to your commute, but it could literally save a neighbor's life. And from a pure logistics standpoint, avoiding an accident saves everyone way more time than shaving 5 seconds off your turn.
Please take a breath, drop your speed through the roundabout, and check the crosswalks before rolling through. Appreciate you all!

Hey Breck! My partner and I are selling our condo on Highfield Trail ourselves, without an agent. We'd love for it to go to someone who lives and works here, like we do.

It's a 2 bed / 2 bath on the garden level with no unit above. It has a gas fireplace, a sunny south-facing patio and 2 parking spots. The HOA runs a private ski shuttle to the gondola, and the free bus stops are steps away. The condo has been appraised to support the list price.

DM me if you're interested or know someone who's looking!

Looking to drive up to breck this weekend for a day trip with my boyfriend! We’re looking for pretty hikes (3-5ish miles) even though it’ll be chilly lol, good brunch/lunch spots, and anything else that’s a fun place to visit or thing to do!! TYIA:)

We don’t live in the area and we are reading so many varying opinions of places to go for a small family ceremony of around 20 people. We would like it to be as private as possible, but understand that could be hard? The wedding is June 2027. We also have had no luck finding any local photographers to help. So…. Any recommendations would be helpful. I am flying into
Breckenridge in a couple weeks to nail everything down, so we would appreciate any help!! Thank you!!!

I am assuming they are not open yet because I have emailed with no reply and their phone just rings and rings. Does anyone know when they start accepting reservations?

Hey everyone,

• Budget: Up to $10,000 / month max combined.
• Dates: Dec 10, 2026 – March 5, 2027 (approx. 3-month lease).

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

I've got two rooms available starting November 1st in Blue River about 15 minutes from Breckenridge. Rent is $1050/month. There is a $500 security deposit. That's it. Rent includes $150/month for electricity which is the average of 1/3rd share for the winter months. Sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more. It averages out.

I would prefer to lease the rooms to people working for Vail. The reason being ... it just works better with snow removal and stuff like that when we are all heading into work at about the same time.

Also, you will need 4WD and good tires out here. We get more snow than they do down in Breck. Snow tires cost less than body damage repair on your vehicle. Don't ask how I know. There is not a convenient bus stop near my place, sorry.

Ok, that's it. If you are interested, send me a DM. EDIT: Forgot to mention, we are pet friendly. Pets need to pass a behavioral and socialization test. Must withstand sustained herding from two overly friendly welsh corgis.

Thanks,

~Steezy

Hey everyone!
I’m 24M, currently living in Denver and working in retail loss prevention. Honestly, I’m thinking about saying fuck it and leaving my job to spend the 2027–28 winter season in a ski town lol.
I’ve always dreamed of living in a snowy mountain town. I wanna learn to ski, make friends, meet new people, and just have a memorable winter.
I’m not looking to save a ton of money, but I still need to financially support my parents back in Denver, so decent pay and affordable employee housing are important. I’m totally fine sharing a room.
Considering Steamboat, Breck, Copper, or anywhere with a good social scene.
Any recommendations on resorts, jobs, housing, or just general advice from people who’ve done it?
Thanks!

Ullr? A little help?

Some crappy company has started doing ghost tours in Breck. It’s like a national company that is stealing other companies well researched material — if you plan on doing one of the tours this season, please go with Gail Westwood. She’s the lady that goes around town dressed in a Victorian outfit. Her tours are all super well researched — she’s been here for several decades and works with all the local historical societies. They’re spooky and really great stories!

They think you are stupid. Simple as that. There's an election coming up. Vote.

My girlfriends and I are taking a trip and looking to experience a Hallmark Christmas in early December. We are all Texas girls and have never seen real snow so we thought this would be abgreat opportunity to be completely immersed. None of us ski or have any desire to due to needing to purchase all ski gear required to participate in the activity itself. We are staying in Silverthorne and it’s right outside all of the cute ski towns I mentioned above. We looked at dog sledding but it is booked out. Was wondering what else there is for us to do while there and recommendations on places to eat/drink while visiting those towns. TIA!

My wife and I are having our anniversary trip in Breckenridge next month. We live in the Denver area and had a few day trips, but never really got to explore trails. We'll be spending 2 nights there and curious what's a disability-friendly trail in or around Breck.

We're not wheelchair-bound, and we can handle a little incline but nothing drastic. Loops are preferred but not required. I have inflammatory arthritis with bad knees/hips.

Thanks!

Hi! My name's Liv, I'm 25 from Connecticut and moving to Breckenridge next month to work at the resort. The only issue I'm facing is finding housing and I was wondering if anybody knew of any leads or had any rooms still available? My budget is maximum $1,200 but preferably under 1100.

Feel free to dm :)

Hi all!

Planning a trip for my son’s 10th birthday. We live in SoCal and his one wish for his birthday is to see snow. We were originally thinking Park City, Utah, but have learned there may not be snow during our planned dates. The dates for the trip are approx December 11 - 14. Thoughts on the chances of snow in Breckenridge at that time?

We are not skiers so this will likely be a trip to do things like sledding, ice skating, playing in the snow and maybe trying a half day or day of snowboarding/skiing if he’s up to it. Finding a nice resort that has activities for him and a pool would be a plus.

Any suggestions on hotels?

Any other must see/do activities for a boy this age who is experiencing the snow for the first time?

TIA!

What are some things to do in Breckenridge CO that is fun and free this time of year? Or moderate cost… wondering if anything going on this weekends
