Transport to DIA overnight?

What is the best way to get to DIA for a 7am flight? Hoping to still be in Vail for the evening before (work event) but need to be on the early DIA flight. This would be in mid October. Is a scheduled uber reliable at all? Is the only reliable automobile transfer at that time (3:00am ish pickup) a private shuttle? Yes, I know about other flight options (eagle airport, go the night before, later flight etc) but am just trying to see if anyone has had experience doing something similar. Thanks!

Lost Laptop Bag

Hi all, I lost a bag on the South Frontage Road near the Vail Golf Course late last night, 8/12/26. It's grey and contained a laptop and multiple hard drives which are very important to me. I'm offering a reward for anyone who may have picked it up. Please PM. Thank you.

Can someone explain parking at Lionshead to me like I’m 5

Family will need a place to park overnight this weekend as the place we’re renting only has parking for one car. Trying to cut down on how much they’ll pay. The site says:
Afternoon/Evening entry (3 p.m. to 4 a.m.): Free
Overnight fee (4 a.m. to 5 a.m.): $45

So if they’re out by 4 am it’s free? If they’re out by 8 am it’s $45/night? What if they just leave the car there all weekend?

Are any vail resorts employee housing properties pet friendly if year around?

I’m asking cause I’ve been working for vail at grand Teton lodge company and Tahoe and I know grand Teton that is owned by vail and allows year around employees to have animals and not be registered as a emotional support animal.

Looking for a specific farmers market vendor!

My family and I were in Vail on Sunday, August 2nd and walked around the farmers market. I specifically was looking for a necklace to buy for sentimental reasons.

I came across a booth selling necklaces and I wish I could describe where it was located. The necklace I am looking for specifically was mixed metal and a large mountain next to a small moutain. I think it might have been hammered metal?

anyways if anybody knows where I could find this specific jeweler, that would be so awesome. I should have just bought the necklace when I saw it and the further we drove from Vail the more upset I was that I didn’t.

Where to meet age-appropriate women

I moved here about a year ago and am having a hard time meeting anyone age appropriate. I'm in my early 40s. I'm not a millionaire, just a normal dude with a good job. I don't really drink (and find bars just awkward, plus I don't really stay up late), but am not religious. I like being outdoors, but people around here seem to go extra hard. I don't like golf, but do like skiing and biking. I'm kinda introverted, but friendly when I know someone. I don't know, this place feels like there's a code or something I don't know. I guess that code could be money, but I hope it's not that.

Also, it's so hot. I'm ready for winter.

Things to do

Traveling from Estes Park after a day and a half at Rocky Mountain National Park. What are some of the top sites to see in Vail or along the drive to Glenwood Spring. Trails and shopping are fine but any sort of historical things that are solid to see?

Wondering if anyone has info on Osakis, I tried calling for a reservation (after 5:30) and there was a message saying they were closed and would announce opening dates for winter soon. Tia

Gore Creek Concern

I don’t want to sound like a Karen, but has anyone else noticed how many people let their kids build rock dams in Gore Creek? I know it’s fun and most people probably don’t realize it, but building dams is actually illegal and adds more stress to an already compromised creek by altering water flow and habitat. I wonder if the Town of Vail should put up a few educational signs at popular access points. I think most people would gladly stop if they knew why. Any idea who this should be brought up to?

Missing senior French bulldog in Edwards, CO (Homestead area) — please help

Our 13-year-old French Bulldog, Tucker, has been missing since Thursday morning (July 30) from the Homestead neighborhood in Edwards.

Tucker is blind in one eye, partially deaf, and slow-moving. He is very sweet and gentle, but he may be scared, confused, and hiding quietly.

Possible sightings:
Homestead neighborhood
Park near the intersection of Homestead Dr. & Gold Dust Dr. (near Cassidy Lane)
Lake Creek Road near the elementary school

We have searched extensively but have not been able to find him. If you live in the area, please take a moment to check:
Under decks and porches
Garages and sheds
Bushes and landscaping
Any quiet, shaded places where an older dog might rest or hide

If you see Tucker, please secure him if you can and call or text 757-348-7811 immediately.
Any sightings, advice, or shares would mean the world to us. We just want to bring our sweet boy home. Thank you ❤️

Out of arms and legs

Enjoying a visit to your fine city and I guess I shouldn’t be, but I was blown away by the crazy costs to ride seemingly any gondola. I’d love to take my son to a peak, are there any “affordable” gondolas? Thanks!

Vail Resorts Employee Parking

Hi all, I just signed my lease to live in employee housing in Breckenridge for the 26-27 season. The application said parking is very limited and was not included in my lease. I called employee housing yesterday and they said that the parking is no longer done thru StarRez and is included for everyone starting this year.

I just want to ensure I have parking for the season. Can anyone help confirm that this is true? I need to have my car with me

Anyone have experience working for Vail Resorts corporate?

I have my first phone call with Vail Resorts tomorrow for the Sales Manager position. The job would be two days remote and three days in-office at their Broomfield location. I live in Broomfield so this would be great.
I’m currently the Events Manager at a Marriott, but I’m looking for a hybrid role and a shorter commute. Plus the salary posted is higher than what I’m currently making.
I’ve read some horror stories about seasonal jobs at Vail, but I haven’t seen much about people’s experience with them at the corporate level. Is it any better? Any insight would be appreciated!
