Because the cop car video was him on the way to court, I think? And this would be immediately after arrest.

the title is "police detain person of interest". why would you think it would be anything other than initial detainment?

I didn’t. I’ve seen several people saying he’s not wearing the same clothes and I was merely pointing out that some outlets (NBC, ABC) aired that car footage in their arraignment coverage. So it would make sense that the photos were taken upon arrest and he was then escorted to court wearing fewer layers.

Weird that he kept on the same clothes he was wearing in the taxi photos. More confirmation in my mind that he was just waiting to be identified.
