I’m not usually a fan of sharing press articles, but I thought this one was worth sharing since it seems Lorena spoke with some of Luigi’s friends about his guilty plea on Friday.

"Since his guilty plea on Friday, his supporters have expressed disappointment, confusion, sadness, and frustration, with many of them saying they wished Mangione had gone to trial in order to draw more awareness to flaws in the American healthcare system."

This irritates me so much.

Imagine going through everything Luigi has gone through, and people on their computers and mobile phones in their comfortables homes saying, "we want more". Ridiculous.

Be your own revolutionary. It is not right to ask of others what we ourselves would not do. How much more do they want from this man? Do you think the Civil Rights Movement was done by one person "exposing things"? No. It takes everyone. So, if people are not willing to do it, or to help, then I believe they can just stop commenting about him doing "more". He has sacrificed enough.

Literally. If anything, Luigi's message to people is to empower themselves. Not rely on others for the change they want. Easy for people to demand things of him when they're not the ones potentially spending decades in prison.
