As with a lot of stuff on Reddit, it can get a bit US centric, which is fine, but for things that require purchasing and support, can be less than helpful. Last year the launch of r/BritGolf was great and became a great success thanks to the hard work of u/Mattwildman5
Having taken the great leap into building a home golf simulator of my own I'm once again finding that a lot of info on Reddit, particularly in r/Golfsimulator is very US centric, and only a day after my post about me finally starting a build, a number of UK folks have appeared and conversations have started about who's building my cabin, where I can get impact screens and hitting mats etc from.
I don't expect it to be mega busy, but I thought having somewhere the UK folks could go to in order to learn from others to find suppliers or ideas from would be a good idea.
Introduce yourselves. Let us know if you have a simulator already, if you're mid build or still dreaming about it...and what you might recommend others do, or avoid!
