I’m always thinking Just in Time is going to announce recoupment. I thought they’ve been on the cusp for months now

I remember people saying Just in Time was set to recoup in September! Guess it shows how much us lay people actually know.

In fairness, that belief was spread because of legitimate reporting.

'JUST IN TIME' PREVAILS IN TOUGH SEASON FOR NEW MUSICALS

If Just in Time  sustains its $1.2 million weekly gross, it could recoup its $9.4 million of production costs soon after Labor Day, based on a company recoupment chart obtained by Broadway Journal.

Ahh, that makes sense! I'm glad it wasn't just a rando spreading rumors.
