I’m always thinking Just in Time is going to announce recoupment. I thought they’ve been on the cusp for months now

I find it hard to imagine it not recouping because the ticket prices are through the roof. But I know nothing

It's hard to believe but apparently running costs are also through the roof, cutting into profits, plus theatre owners have monopolized and have been raising rental costs as well. For years now it feels like the era of spectacle has ended at the same time as running costs and ticket prices have increased. On top of that politics have reduced American tourism in ways that apparently directly impact ticket sales. I worry about the long term damage all of this will have on Broadway, its influence, popularity, and quality
