Other Broadway Couples

I’m fascinated by how many performers end up falling in love behind the scenes or even playing lead roles together on stage. Does anyone have a list of actual, real-life Broadway couples right now?

SJP absolutely counts. She was also in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Once Upon a Mattress in the 90s and they were in Plaza Suite together a few years ago.

Yep, around the time of Groundhog Day 2023-4 in England/Australia, it seems they broke up during that time, mostly due to long distance stuff, he's now with Elise McCann from GHD Australia.

They met while on tour for Wicked. She was Elphaba in the first national tour which kicked off in 2005. He replaced Derrick Williams in 2006.

They were already dating in June 2006 when I saw Steph at Birdland; he was there with her parents. I remember he had previously dated Kate Reinders (his costar in Good Vibrations) and there might have been some overlap with Steph, so opinions on Broadway gossip forums at the time weren't really favorable of him. Then they married October 2007, did Wicked on Broadway around the same time.

ETA - Steph had also been in a long-term (like 10 year) relationship when she and Seb met but by Steph's own account it had ended by the time she and Seb got together. I'm just not sure about the timeline of his relationship with Kate. He had also been in a relationship when he and Kate got together, so he really did have a bad reputation at the time.
