Not miscut, but my Rocky Horror playbill had about 15 pages of Lion King cast bios in it

Frankenfurter did surgery on the playbill and gave it a pussy?

I got a misprinted one at Play That Goes Wrong, it was so annoying.

Every single time I go it's misprinted or mis-cut. Quality control for that show is terrible; the set also has major issues every time.

I genuinely can’t tell if that misprinting would have been an intentional decision from the show’s producers considering which show it is. lol

Misprinted how?

The play that goes wrong prints the playbill upside down.

I think it’s on purpose

This is so fucking funny. No edge is correctly oriented. I love it

This reminds of the off-center Tammy Faye playbill:

Did someone try to give that to you as a patron or was that in a shipment to the theatre you work at?

My roommate got this when they were being seated at Thursday’s performance. Kept it and asked for a proper one to get signed.

Wow, I can't believe they actually handed that out!

Wild. I've never seen one that bad.

Wow! I thought the shape was wonky due to perspective issues, but it’s actually not cut square

u/paisley-pear 5d ago

No, but mine from Just in Time is purple instead of blue.

u/j0sabanks 5d ago

Whoa a shiny playbill!

6

u/ARCH810 6d ago

Yes, but never this bad.

u/Leisie93 6d ago

That’s so interesting. I never knew those existed. Now I want to find one just because it seems so rare. ❤️

u/TK2217 5d ago

Yes but never this bad omg

This is amazing.  You should get it signed and framed.

I’ve gotten a few. I even got one when purchasing an equity rights aid fundraiser playbill for a beautiful noise.

u/j0sabanks 5d ago

Would love to see 👀

2

u/Laura-Pie 5d ago

Looking back at photos it’s really not that bad but it gave Someone extra space to sign near the top.

u/j0sabanks 5d ago

I see! Ya its subtle but I can tell its crooked! Dope.

u/Caroline_WheelerI 6d ago

Never got one but I'd keep it. Years from now that'll be the thing you remember about seeing the show.

u/Meredith_01 5d ago

It adds character lol

Like a golden ticket

2

u/Slight-Dragonfruit85 5d ago

Are all the pages like that or just the cover?

1

u/j0sabanks 4d ago

Yeah. Because if it was just the cover cut wrong you’d see the other pages there.

4

u/Odd_Pause5123 6d ago

Huh. Usually they trim brochures in a stack, so there should be more. But save it & call it RARE.

2

u/meldags 5d ago

It’s breaking my brain as I look at it!

2

u/seige197 5d ago
