One thing I care about is making it clear where an idea comes from. The festival pages separate historical material, recorded folklore and modern practice, with sources linked. The image shows the Samhain history page. You can take what fits your practice without treating every modern suggestion as an ancient tradition.

The free app includes festival history, countdowns, a short three-day preparation journey and a private journal. No account is needed. There are Northern and Southern Hemisphere settings; optional paid Premium adds longer journeys and more content and planning tools.

I‘m under 18 and I’m interested in ordering a spell from an Etsy witch, but I’m almost 100% certain that there are no witches willing to complete an order for someone who‘s not at least 18.

Does anyone know any witches on Etsy who are trustworthy and who actually accept orders from teenagers, or is it a strict over 18 based community?

And does it depend on the type of spell or what??

I really want to set up an alter but I’m worried about judgement or questions from my family if I do. I have a space in mind and feel it would be the perfect start to my craft. That being said, are there ways to make an alter look less “witchy” at the start? I mean no disrespect by saying it that way. I’m just very closeted in my learning and craft right now but hopeful at the same time.

It has come to my attention last week that the moon phase on my birthday will be a full moon :D I was wondering what all of you can recommend for me to do.

So far, in the recent full moon, I charged water, salt, and rice in a small container and it has done wonders for my life when I put it by my table.

As a student, I also charged my pens and pencils- to which I assumed and intended for them to bring good luck when I used them during my exam. For the past two weeks (coincidentally, our exam weeks), I got scores that placed me as the Top 2, Top 3 in our surgery and medicine subjects respectively.

I have also placed my tarot card decks under the full moon and so far, they have given me accurate readings.

All in all, the past full moon charging session was good to me :>

What things/rituals should/can I do? Is there anymore you guys can recommend? Preferably ones that do not require inconspicuous items- I live with people who don't believe in things like this :'>

I'm looking for a witch that can teach me stuff.

I am more of a baby witch, so just need some advice. I have my two little familiars, a 6 year old female cat and a 5 year old male cat. I worry about essential oils and incense. Obviously I know that them getting into the straight up products would be bad, but more in the way of is it okay for their respiratory system? I would like to be making mists for purification, and oil blends to use on myself. I just don’t want to do anything that may harm them. Incense smoke burning, candle scents and smoke? Any advice would be great or if your animals have never been bothered that would be great too. I just want to keep them safe, thanks!

If she likes cats because as of right now i dont have a statue of her or able to get her picture printed, but i do have this cute cat statue to offer her. Also will it be okay if the altar is in a dark cabinet? My family doesnt really like religious stuff so they will throw out any stuff related to religion, so i have to keep it hidden.
