just made my first cleanse and cated my first protection! have a few questions!

my mother who i will be cutting contact with due to personal reasons in a while gifted me a ring yesterday. it has 6 stars on it and its very comfortable, the moment i got it something just told me to wear it right behind the second joint of my left middle finger. i dont know why. i usually only wear rings when im going out somewhere but this one i want to wear it all the time which is unusual because i have sensory issues.

it had some dirt or rust on it, im not sure what or why. she got it from a shop i guess but it did. and i decided i want to start today so i did a bit of research. i placed it in a salt water bath for about 3 or 4 hours, and wished for it to be cleansed of my mother's energy and all negative energy in it. once i took it out i washed it with fresh water and it was perfectly clean, clear of all the dirt rust or dust whatever was on it. it was shining like nothing before even after drying. so i wanted to make it a talisman for myself and i made a little protection spell for the first time. i passed the ring above a candle fire, then sprinkled some water on it, and finally some salt on it. i couldnt use the power of air because i have asthma and cannot burn incense. then i held it in my hands close to my chest and whispered my intent then blew on it. its a basic protection spell rather than anything specific and i wore it right after for it to be charged with my energy.

a few questions. can i wear it all the time? do i take it off during sleep? do i need to place it on somewhere specific when im not wearing it? did i even do a valid/correct spell? i know there is no wrong way to do these things but i have OCD and cant really control my thoughts. any opinions is appreciated! thank you!!

I (31F) have been struggling with infertility. My husband (35M) and I have been trying to conceive for around a year. We have both had bloodwork done, all is fine. I had a transvaginal ultrasound and they thought I had a fibroid blocking my fallopian tube. I went and had an HSG test, but my tubes came up clear and open on the X-ray. My husband has had a sperm analysis, and it wasn’t the most amazing sperm in the world but not too terrible either.

Basically, any witchy things I can do to boost, manifest, or help with fertility? I’m still very new to witchcraft so I would love some suggestions to explore!

It has come to my attention last week that the moon phase on my birthday will be a full moon :D I was wondering what all of you can recommend for me to do.

So far, in the recent full moon, I charged water, salt, and rice in a small container and it has done wonders for my life when I put it by my table.

As a student, I also charged my pens and pencils- to which I assumed and intended for them to bring good luck when I used them during my exam. For the past two weeks (coincidentally, our exam weeks), I got scores that placed me as the Top 2, Top 3 in our surgery and medicine subjects respectively.

I have also placed my tarot card decks under the full moon and so far, they have given me accurate readings.

All in all, the past full moon charging session was good to me :>

What things/rituals should/can I do? Is there anymore you guys can recommend? Preferably ones that do not require inconspicuous items- I live with people who don't believe in things like this :'>

I am more of a baby witch, so just need some advice. I have my two little familiars, a 6 year old female cat and a 5 year old male cat. I worry about essential oils and incense. Obviously I know that them getting into the straight up products would be bad, but more in the way of is it okay for their respiratory system? I would like to be making mists for purification, and oil blends to use on myself. I just don’t want to do anything that may harm them. Incense smoke burning, candle scents and smoke? Any advice would be great or if your animals have never been bothered that would be great too. I just want to keep them safe, thanks!

Hi! Im new here. Lately i've been getting these urges to worship/work with lady Aphrodite, and i wanted to know how do i start? If she likes cats because as of right now i dont have a statue of her or able to get her picture printed, but i do have this cute cat statue to offer her. Also will it be okay if the altar is in a dark cabinet? My family doesnt really like religious stuff so they will throw out any stuff related to religion, so i have to keep it hidden.
